Abstract:
A method for instantaneous imaging of coronary thrombi is disclosed. A radiolabeled, thrombus-specific antibody or antibody fragment is administered into a coronary artery and the label is detected to obtain a visual image of the thrombus.
Abstract:
A system and method of removing product from sludge at a bottom of a storage tank that includes introducing a liquid to the tank, heating and agitating the liquid to separate the product from the sludge, and then removing the separated product and removing the introduced liquid.
Abstract:
A system and method for facilitating compliance and persistency with a regimen, such as a medical regimen. An individual provides the system with contact information which is used by the system to address the issue of forgetfulness as a regimen failure source by providing a self-directed contact facility that facilitates regimen compliance with updates on contact days, time intervals, and channels specified by the individual. The system may also employ a comprehensive reporting apparatus that facilitates the monitoring of the individual's compliance with regimen.
Abstract:
Described herein are compositions and methods for use in the treatment of anorgasmia and/or delayed orgasm. In various embodiments, the compositions include a dopamine receptor agonist and/or an antiprolactin. Cabergoline is a dopamine receptor agonist suitable for use in connection with particular embodiments of the invention. Its analogs, salts, equivalents, and derivatives may be useful as well. Also described are kits including a dopamine receptor agonist and/or an antiprolactin for use in connection with the aforementioned therapeutic methods.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A method of imaging, including receiving radioactive radiation from a body; reconstructing a 3D SPECT image of a distribution of radiation in at least one voxel of said body; and reconstructing a dynamic change in radiation in said voxel, as an updated image, at a rate of faster than one change per 5 minutes, wherein said reconstructed image is a clinically useful image including a resolution of 10 mm or better for a voxel volume of at least 5 cm in diameter and a contrast to background ratio of radiation of at least 2:1.
Abstract:
An ocean thermal energy apparatus comprising a fluid cooling compartment, a fluid heating compartment, fluid conduits conducting cooled fluid from the fluid cooling compartment to the fluid heating compartment, generating apparatus, and pump apparatus to return fluid from the generating apparatus to the fluid cooling compartment. In particular, such an apparatus designed to float in the ocean such that the fluid cooling compartment is disposed deeper in the ocean in colder water, and the fluid heating compartment is disposed in a shallower position in warmer water, yet remaining in fluid communicating relationship.
