摘要: A load sense pump can be used as a backup for a pressure-compensated pump in a wellbore operation. A pumping system can include a first pump, a second pump, a check valve, and a directional control valve. The first pump, which can be a load sense pump, can be used to provide pressure to a first hydraulic load. The second pump, which can be a pressure-compensated pump, can be used to provide pressure to a second hydraulic load. The directional control valve can be controllable to cause the first pump to change operation to provide pressure to the first hydraulic load and through the check valve to the second hydraulic load.

The systems include at least one container having in which dry bulk material can be placed and a skid-mounted vacuum unit comprising a tank having an interior space and an outlet for interfacing with the inlet of the container when the vacuum unit is positioned proximate to the container, a vacuum pump in communication with the interior space of the tank, and a conduit coupled to an inlet of the vacuum pump for interfacing with an inlet of a blender.

摘要: An in-field powered distributed pumping system and method are provided. The system includes a pump unit disposed at a first location and a slurry pump unit disposed at a second location. The system also includes at least one grid power supply, wherein at least one of the pump unit and the slurry pump unit is powered by the at least one grid power supply. The system further includes a first flow path fluidly connected to the pump unit at the first location and configured to fluidly connect the pump unit to a well bore, and a second flow path fluidly connected to the slurry pump at the second location and configured to fluidly connect the slurry pump unit to the well bore.

摘要: Controlling the dust emissions from the discharge of bulk materials from a container provides many benefits. A support structure may include a plurality of outlets or chutes for discharging the bulk material. A dust control damper coupled to the outlets not currently in use for the discharge of bulk material may prevent dust from escaping into the surrounding air. The dust control dampers may automatically transition between a closed position and an open position. A flexibly collapsible shroud may also be coupled to a discharge gate of a container. The shroud may expand to seal against the outlet when bulk material is discharge. A vacuum system at or near an outlet may reclaim any dust that escapes during discharge of the bulk material.

摘要: In accordance with presently disclosed embodiments, a stackable bulk material storage container is provided. The bulk material storage container includes a frame having a top portion and a bottom portion, which is supported by a plurality of rigid bars. A semi-rigid containment structure is further provided, which is supported by the frame. The semi-rigid containment structure may be formed of a plurality of interconnected or attached panels of thin steel sheets, carbon graphite or fiber reinforced plastic. Alternatively, the semi-rigid containment structure may be integrally formed of a roto-molded plastic material. The frame optionally has an opening at the top, which is sized to allow for easy removal and replacement of the semi-rigid containment structure.

摘要: A valve of a first container is opened to remove fluid from the first container into a second container, where the output of the first container is arranged to be above a maximum fluid level of the second container. The valve of the first container is closed based on a fluid sensor indicating that a fluid level in the first container is at a first fluid level. A pump is caused to pump the fluid from the second container to the first container via a flow meter. An indication is received after pumping the fluid which causes the pump to stop pumping the fluid from the second container to the first container based on the indication. An amount of fluid pumped into the first container is determined based on the first fluid level and a second fluid level indicated by the fluid sensor. An indication of total fluid volume measured by the flow meter is compared to the amount of fluid pumped. An indication of accuracy of the flow meter is output based on the comparison.

The disclosed systems include a modular portable container that can be used to hold multiple types of dry flowable material for transportation about a work site. The different types of dry materials can be selectively released from the modular container for mixing with liquid and bulk material in a blender. The modular container generally includes a base structure that supports a number of individual, separable, and fully enclosed compartments. The compartments may each hold a different type of dry material, and the compartments may be arranged onto the base structure adjacent one another and removably secured to the base structure so that the compartments can be transported as a single unit about the work site.

摘要: In accordance with presently disclosed embodiments, systems and methods for managing bulk material efficiently at a well site are provided. The disclosure is directed to a container support frame that is integrated into a blender unit. The support frame is used to receive one or more portable containers of bulk material, and the blender unit may include a gravity feed outlet for outputting bulk material from the containers directly into a mixer of the blender unit. The blender unit with integrated support frame may eliminate the need for any subsequent mechanical conveyance of the bulk material (e.g., via a separate mechanical conveying system or on-blender sand screws) from the containers to the mixer. As such, the integrated blender unit may be lighter weight, take up less space, and have a lower cost and complexity than existing blenders.

The disclosure is directed to a portable support structure used to receive one or more portable containers of bulk material and output bulk material from the containers directly into the blender hopper. The portable support structure may include a frame for receiving and holding the one or more portable bulk material containers in an elevated position proximate the blender hopper, as well as one or more gravity feed outlets for routing the bulk material from the containers directly into the blender hopper. In some embodiments, the portable support structure may be transported to the well site on a trailer, unloaded from the trailer, and positioned proximate the blender unit. In other embodiments, the portable support structure may be a mobile support structure that is integrated into a trailer unit.

摘要: A manipulatable filtering system for use in a wellbore servicing system is disclosed. The system includes a first wellbore servicing system component configured to communicate a fluid via a first fluid conduit and a second wellbore servicing system component comprising a second fluid conduit. A filter system having an input conduit is in fluid communication with the first fluid conduit. The filtering system includes a plurality of input flow paths, each in fluid communication with the input conduit. The system further includes a plurality of filter housings, each in fluid communication with one of the plurality of input flow paths. A filter is disposed within each of the filter housings. A plurality of output flow paths are in fluid communication with the filter housings and an output conduit is in fluid communication with each of the output flow paths and the second fluid conduit.
