Abstract:
An elevator, preferably an elevator without counterweight, wherein the elevator car is suspended by hoisting ropes consisting of a single rope or a plurality of parallel ropes. The elevator has a traction sheave which moves the elevator car by means of the hoisting ropes. The elevator has rope portions of the hoisting ropes going upwards and downwards from the elevator car, and the elevator is provided with a safety gear fitted in conjunction with the elevator car and engaging a guide rail. The elevator is provided with a locking mechanism fitted in conjunction with the elevator car for locking the elevator car in place, said mechanism comprising means for activating and releasing the safety gear fitted on the elevator car.
Abstract:
Method and system for installing the guide rails (1, 2), such as the car guide rails and/or counterweight guide rails, in an elevator shaft (3). The guide rails are installed by assembly in phases starting from the bottom (4) of the elevator shaft by placing one on top of the other guide rail sections (51, 52; 61, 62; 71, 72 . . . ) that are shorter than the whole length of the guide rail and by aligning the guide rail sections perpendicularly by means of the laser beam produced by a direction laser (8). The direction laser (8) is moved upwards along with progressive assembly of the guide rail. As assembly progresses the direction laser (8) is supported in the proximity of the top end of the topmost vertically aligned guide rail section at the time for aligning the next guide rail section to be installed in the vertical direction. These phases are repeated until the entire guide rail is assembled. The system comprises an alignment appliance (12), which can be supported against a guide rail section and fixed to it by means of a permanent magnet (20). In addition the alignment appliance contains an aligning element (13), at which the laser beam produced by the direction laser can be directed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for mounting a rope 3 on a rope pulley (2) by winding the rope (3) at least partially around the rope pulley (2). According to the invention, the end of the rope (3) to be mounted is pressed into a rope groove of the rope pulley (2) by means of a special rope holder (4) attached to the rope pulley (2), and the rope (3) is guided over the rope pulley (2) by setting the rope pulley (2) into rotating motion.
Abstract:
An elevator, preferably an elevator with-out counterweight, comprising a number of diverting pulleys in the upper part of an elevator shaft or equivalent, a number of diverting pulleys in the lower part of the elevator shaft and a number of diverting pulleys on an elevator car, is installed in such manner that at least some of the diverting pulleys for the upper part are rigged in the lower part of the elevator shaft and at least some of the diverting pulleys from which the passage of the ropes is directed upwards are rigged at the same time. The diverting pulleys for the upper part thus rigged are raised in the rigged state to the upper part of the elevator shaft or equivalent and mounted in place.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a method in the installation of an elevator, said elevator being provided with an elevator car traveling in a controlled manner along guide rails in an elevator hoistway, for determining the disposal location of the hoistway components to be disposed in the elevator hoistway and/or the landing doors of the elevator. The disposal location of the hoistway components and/or of the landing doors of the elevator is determined in relation to the guide rails of the elevator car by copying the disposal location at different heights in the elevator hoistway mechanically by means of a tool, in which tool the disposal locations according to plan of the hoistway components are arranged to remain fixed for essentially at least the whole period of the aforementioned determination of the disposal locations of the hoistway components of the elevator hoistway and/or of the landing doors of the elevator. The object of the invention is also a tool to be used in the method.
Abstract:
An elevator, preferably without counterweight, comprising a number of diverting pulleys in the upper part of the elevator shaft or equivalent, a number of diverting pulleys in the lower part of the elevator shaft and a number of diverting pulleys on the elevator car. The rope portions between the upwards-directed diverting pulleys on the elevator car and the diverting pulleys in the upper part of the elevator shaft are rigged when the car is in the upper part of the shaft, and the diverting pulleys between the downwards-directed diverting pulleys on the elevator car and the diverting pulleys in the lower part of the elevator shaft are rigged when the car is in the lower part of the shaft.
