Abstract: An apparatus for managing power of a vehicle and a method of controlling the same, for effectively shutting off dark current are disclosed. The method includes cutting off a first load part when a preset first time condition is satisfied, additionally cutting off a second load part when at least one of a preset second time condition or a first battery state condition is satisfied, and additionally cutting off a third load part to interrupt all loads when at least one of a preset third time condition, a second battery state condition, or a dark current state condition is satisfied.

Abstract: An apparatus for detecting a battery discharge cause for a vehicle includes a communicator connected to and configured to communicate with a plurality of controllers, and a monitor configured to monitor a communication state of the controllers to detect a battery discharge cause through the communicator. The monitor monitors the communication state of the controllers to check whether a controller in a communication-enabled state is present when the plurality of controllers is in a state of always-on power (power B+). The monitor checks whether the controller is maintained in the communication-enabled state until a preset amount of time elapses when a controller in a communication-enabled state is present. The monitor detects a communication non-sleep controller based on the controller maintained in the communication-enabled state until the preset amount of time elapses.

Abstract: A method and charging system for effectively performing measurement of a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal for selection of a charging mode between an electric vehicle and a charger are disclosed. The method for determining a charging mode of an electric vehicle includes measuring a duty ratio of a control signal applied to a communication line of a charger connector by a first controller for controlling slow charging and a second controller for controlling quick charging, transmitting measurement results obtained from each of the first controller and the second controller to a third controller in charge of a battery, determining a final duty ratio using the measurement results by the third controller, transmitting the determined final duty ratio to the first controller and the second controller, and starting charging in a mode corresponding to the final duty ratio.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for predicting battery usage habits and battery discharge tendencies.
