摘要: An apparatus for controlling supply of power of a battery is provided. In particular the apparatus supplies battery power to various loads within a vehicle by a release of a door-lock using a key. The battery power is supplied to the loads by rotation of the key for releasing the door-lock when the power of the battery supplied to the various loads is blocked to prevent over-discharge.

摘要: A method and system for controlling charge and discharge of a battery are provided. The method includes detecting a battery temperature using a temperature sensor and determining, by a controller, a state of charge (SOC) of the battery, a first maximum discharging power value, and a first maximum charging power value that correspond to the battery temperature. The controller selects a lowest SOC from among at least one SOC to use a maximum discharging power equal to the determined first maximum discharging power value and resets the first maximum charging power value to a second maximum charging power value that corresponds to the selected lowest SOC. Further, the controller is configured to perform a charge and a discharge of the battery with the reset second maximum charging power value at the detected battery temperature.

摘要: An overcharge prevention device of a battery is provided and includes a safety fuse which is connected to a battery and a safety circuit which is connected in parallel to the battery and the safety fuse and includes a short-circuit switch which is disposed adjacent to a side in which the battery is swelled. The short-circuit switch is opened in a normal state, and short-circuits when the switch is pressurized due to the swelling of the battery to form a closed circuit with the battery and the safety fuse.

摘要: A method and system for detecting fusion of a relay are provided to more accurately diagnose fusion of a relay by adjusting relay OFF order when a vehicle engine is turned off using data regarding whether fusion of a relay was detected when the vehicle engine was turned on. The method includes detecting whether first and second relays have been fused when a vehicle engine was turned on and adjusting OFF order of the first and second relays when the vehicle engine is turned off based on whether the first and second relays have been fused.

摘要: A system for charging a vehicle battery includes a relay configured to establish/interrupt electrical connection between the vehicle battery and a vehicle system supplied with power from the vehicle battery, and a controller. The controller is configured to monitor a voltage of the battery, control the relay to interrupt the electrical connection when a voltage of the battery is less than or equal to a first predetermined reference value, and control the relay to establish the electrical connection when a predetermined condition is satisfied while the relay is electrically disconnected. The controller controls the relay to be electrically connected to charge the battery through an external power source while the electrical connection is interrupted, and then control a connection state of the relay based on the voltage of the battery, a voltage and current of the relay at a side of the vehicle system, and whether a vehicle is started.
