    Abstract: A radio channel may comprise a first component between two devices, and second and third components via the controllable scatterer. First reference signal(s) may be transmitted with the controllable scatterer configured to alter a propagation of signals such that influence of the second and third components of the radio channel is mitigated. Second reference signal(s) may be transmitted with the controllable scatterer configured to alter a propagation of signals such that influence of the second and third components of the radio channel is increased. An estimate of the first component may be determined based on the first reference signal(s) and an estimate of the third component may be determined based on the second reference signal(s) and a pre-computed estimate of the second component.

    Abstract: Embodiments relate to an apparatus for adjusting channel quality indicator measurements of a channel between a client device and a serving device within a wireless communication system. The apparatus includes a controller adapted to receive, from the client device, a first information and, when the client device is in a handover zone, a second information. The controller is further adapted to transmit according to a switching sequence either the first information alone or the first information together with the second information. The apparatus also includes an adjustment function entity adapted to receive the first information together with the second information and adapted to adjust the first information based on the second information by modifying it or keeping it unchanged. The first information is related to the CQI measurements, while the second information is related to a handover (HO).

    Abstract: A communication arrangement, a method for the operation thereof and a computer program including instructions causing a computer to perform the method for the operation of the communication arrangement are disclosed.     Abstract: A sensing apparatus for detecting speed bumps or potholes on a road is disclosed. The sensing apparatus comprises a telemetric sensing system configured to collect a plurality of position vectors by telemetric sensing of a road surface, wherein each position vector extends from a common origin to a respective point on the road surface and wherein each position vector has a length and a direction. The sensing apparatus further comprises a processing circuitry configured to detect a road flatness exception by evaluating the lengths of the position vectors. Thus, an improved apparatus for detecting road irregularities such as speed bumps or potholes on a road is provided. The sensing apparatus remains functional in low light conditions, e.g., at night, and also in the presence of reverberation of the vehicle. In an implementation form, the telemetric sensing system may comprise one or more radar sensors and/or one or more lidar sensors for collecting the plurality of position vectors using radar and/or lidar measurements.
