Abstract: An object of the invention is to appropriately separate an available cluster for each user in a storage system configured by using a plurality of clusters each of which is an aggregate of nodes. A computer system includes a plurality of K8s clusters each configured by one or a plurality of K8s nodes, a storage that provides a volume, and a tenant management unit that manages the plurality of the K8s clusters and the storage. The tenant management unit creates, in the storage, a plurality of tenants respectively corresponding to the plurality of the K8s clusters. The storage, for each of the plurality of the K8s clusters, permits access from the K8s cluster to a tenant corresponding to the K8s cluster and prohibits access from the K8s cluster to a tenant not corresponding to the K8s cluster.

Abstract: A storage system includes a plurality of storage nodes. The storage node includes: one or more storage devices which respectively provide a storage area; and one or more control software which read/write requested data from/into the corresponding storage device according to a request from a higher-level device, wherein each of the control software retains predetermined configuration information required for reading/writing requested data from/into the corresponding storage device according to a request from the higher-level device, wherein a plurality of the control software are managed as a redundancy group, and the configuration information retained in each of the control software belonging to the same redundancy group is synchronously updated, and wherein the plurality of control software configuring the redundancy group are each deployed in respectively different storage nodes so as to distribute a load of each of the storage nodes.

Abstract: A primary storage system is equipped with a local storage subsystem having a mirror volume of a volume in a primary storage subsystem, and a remote storage subsystem having a mirror volume of the volume in the primary storage subsystem at a secondary site. When storing a write data from a host to a volume, the primary storage subsystem determines an SEQ# to be stored in a journal corresponding to the write request, creates a journal including the relevant SEQ# and a replica of the write data, and transmits the relevant SEQ# to the local storage subsystem, which creates a journal including the relevant SEQ# and stores it in its own journal volume. But when creation of the journal including the relevant SEQ# is stopped, the local storage subsystem creates a dummy journal including the relevant SEQ# but not including the write data.

Abstract: Provided is a control method for a plurality of storage apparatuses that perform a migration from a pre-migration volume group to a post-migration volume group. The plurality of storage apparatuses are configured to accept a write command directed to any one of a plurality of volumes in the pre-migration volume group and the post-migration volume group when the migration is being processed. The control method includes writing write data of the write command to all of the plurality of volumes in a predetermined order, writing the write data to a last volume last among the plurality of volumes, and writing the write data to volumes different from the last volume after individually obtaining exclusive locks and, after completion of the writing the write data to the last volume, releasing the exclusive locks.

Abstract: A source remote copy configuration in a source storage system is migrated to a destination storage system as a destination remote copy configuration.
