    摘要: A cord assembly for an electronic device includes a cord having an insulation layer with a first end and an exterior surface, as well as at least one electrical conductor extending within the insulation layer. A strength member also extends within the insulation layer and includes a first end extending beyond the first end of the insulation layer. A securing element couples the first end of the strength member with the first end of the insulation layer along the exterior surface. The strength member is pre-tensioned to carry any additional tensile loads on the cord, at least initially. The cord assembly may also include a strain relief member molded over the first end of the strength member and the securing element.

    摘要: A versatile hunting bow with a circular rotatable handle mounted on a circular frame of the riser of the bow. The riser is skeletonized and has an asymmetrical shape. The archers can rotate and adjust the orientation of the handle to their natural wrist position. The outer wall of the circular handle has a series of parallel thread cuts that match with the thread cuts on the inner wall of the circular frame of the riser. Two limbs are connected and secured to the riser through limb bolts. When limb bolts are tightened, the geometry of the riser and the arrangement of the limbs create tensions that slightly distort the shape of the riser. The distortion prevents the thread cuts from moving along each other. Thus, the handle is no longer able to rotate when the limb bolts are tightened and the handle is locked.

The sensor may inactivate the blower when the predetermined speed has been reached. The source of pressurized fluid may be compressed air, and the source of the pressurized fluid may be refrigerated air.

    摘要: Current state-of-the art ion sources do not meet multiple application needs for pulsed ion beams because current designs limit obtaining the needed peak currents, anode current densities, total currents, time averaged currents and lifetime in the same structure. High surface energy, power loading, material erosion and stresses damage surfaces. Our concepts for a ‘cold’ anode structure and ion source will reduce these erosion and damage issues. By extending lifetime and performance characteristics multiple applications can be enabled with lower maintenance and cost. The concepts here reduce the surface aging and provide the high performance (peak current, high current density and long lifetime required.
