Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and device for transmitting block division information for efficient image coding in a video compression technique for a high-definition security camera. To this end, the present invention obtains block division information from a bitstream, determines the division form of an image by computing and predicting omitted information if there is omitted information in the obtained information, and performs video decoding in the unit of a divided block.
