Data points of an engine torque data set are adjusted en masse by an on-board vehicle controller while also being adjusted individually by an off-board controller. By adjusting engine operation based on a torque data set that is updated by each of the on-board and off-board controllers, engine torque errors can be reliably determined and compensated for.

摘要： An infrastructure system includes at least one sensor, a transceiver, and a computer communicatively coupled to the at least one sensor and to the transceiver. The computer is programmed to receive data from the at least one sensor indicating respective locations and motions of objects in an environment surrounding the at least one sensor; in response to one of (a) the data from the at least one sensor or (b) a request from a user, generate a virtual traffic marker at a first location in the environment; and instruct the transceiver to broadcast the virtual traffic marker to vehicles in the environment. The first location is based on the data from the at least one sensor, and the virtual traffic marker is data including the first location and traffic instructions corresponding to the first location.

The controller may disable a power steering system or otherwise prepare vehicle subsystems for shutdown prior to the anticipated shutdown event. The controller may also enable the power steering system in response to anticipating an automatic restart event.

摘要： A set of first candidate topologies of first candidate roadside infrastructure nodes at respective mounting locations in a geographic area is randomly generated. For each of the first candidate topologies, first simulations, including detection of objects according to selected sensor parameters, installation parameters, and environment parameters for the candidate nodes at the respective mounting locations, are executed. First fitness scores are determined for each of the first candidate topologies by comparing results of the first simulations to ground truth data. Upon identifying one of the first fitness scores as exceeding a threshold, the candidate topology associated with the identified first fitness score is identified for deployment.
