摘要: A UE and a method for handling UE onboarding are provided. The method includes receiving a first indication, a second indication, and a third indication from a cell via a SIB1, the cell operated by one or more SNPNs; reporting, by an AS layer of the UE, the first indication, the second indication, and the third indication to a NAS layer of the UE; receiving, by the AS layer of the UE, an indication for UE onboarding from the NAS layer of the UE; and transmitting a first RRC message to the cell, the first RRC message including an onboarding request associated with the indication for UE onboarding.

摘要: The embodiments of the disclosure provide a method for maintaining multi-SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) configuration and user equipment (UE). The method includes: receiving, by the UE, a first multi-SIM support information from a first cell, wherein the first multi-SIM support information is generated and transmitted from a second cell to the first cell via an inter-node signaling from the second cell to the first cell, and the first cell and the second cell belong to a first network; transmitting, by the UE, a multi-SIM assistance information message to the second cell, wherein the multi-SIM assistance information message is determined based on the first multi-SIM support information.

摘要: Some of the present implementations provide a method for a user equipment (UE) for performing a handover procedure with minimum mobility interruption. The method receives, at the UE, a reconfiguration message that has an indicator for performing a dual-connectivity based (DC-based) handover procedure. The method then performs the DC-based handover procedure without reestablishing a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of the UE during the DC-based handover procedure. The PDCP entity maintains a plurality of security keys to decipher PDCP packets received from at least one of a source base station and a target base station during the handover procedure and while the UE is transitioning from the source base station to the target base station.

The method includes: receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message from a base station; determining a PUCCH cell from the first cell and the second cell according to at least one PUCCH cell pattern; and transmitting the PUCCH transmission on the PUCCH cell during the time resource units. The RRC message includes at least one PUCCH cell pattern associated with multiple cell indexes and a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) associated with a first cell and a second SCS associated with a second cell. Each cell index corresponds to a cell, and the PUCCH cell pattern indicates which cell corresponds to one time resource unit used for PUCCH transmission.

摘要: A method for acquiring system information (SI) performed by a user equipment (UE) in a radio resource control (RRC)_CONNECTED state is provided. The method includes: performing a first set of operations after determining that the UE is not configured with a common search space (CSS) in an active bandwidth part (BWP); and performing a second set of operations after determining that the UE is configured with the CSS in the active BWP. The first set of operations includes: transmitting, to a cell, a first RRC message for requesting a required system information block (SIB) after determining that the required SIB is provided by the cell; and receiving, from the cell, a second RRC message including the required SIB. The second set of operations includes: transmitting, to the cell, a third RRC message for requesting the required SIB after determining that the required SIB is provided by the cell and the required SIB is not broadcast in the cell; and receiving, from the cell, the required SIB in the CSS.

摘要: A method of sidelink unicast service management in an access stratum layer for a first user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, by the first UE through a PC5 interface, a sidelink unicast configuration associated with a second UE, from the second UE, transmitting, by the first UE through a radio resource control, RRC, signaling of the PC5 interface, a sidelink unicast link problem report, to the second UE in responsive to that the first UE is unable to comply with all or part of the sidelink unicast configuration, and performing, by the first UE, a sidelink unicast fallback procedure with the second UE by continuously using a sidelink unicast configuration setting of the first UE with corresponding configurations in a sidelink unicast pre-configuration used prior to the received sidelink unicast configuration.
