Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for connecting a terminal and a base station in a multi-hop network. A method of a terminal may comprise: receiving cell selection and reselection criteria information broadcast from a base station; determining candidate base stations among all base stations capable of communicating with the terminal based on the cell selection and reselection criteria information; selecting one connection scheme from a lightening backhaul load (LBL) scheme or a maximum reference signal received power (RSRP) scheme based on a tolerable gap, which is a parameter for determining the candidate base station; selecting one candidate base station from among the candidate base stations as a target base station based on the one connection scheme; and connecting to the target base station.
Abstract:
An operation method of a first communication node, which controls a plurality of communication nodes included in a mobile xhaul network supporting mobility, may comprise performing an attach procedure between the first communication node and a second communication node among the plurality of communication nodes; configuring a path for communications between the second communication node and a third communication node for which attach procedure has been completed among the plurality of communication nodes; and supporting communications of the second communication node and the third communication node using the configured path.
Abstract:
A reception terminal receives information indicating whether a service flow requires in-order delivery and a maximum time during which data not yet received is to wait in a case in which in-order delivery is required, from a transmission terminal, restores service data units (SDUs) from protocol data units (PDUs) received from the transmission terminal with respect to the corresponding service flow, and transmits the restored SDUs to a higher layer according to sequence numbers of the received PDUs in order.
Abstract:
A method of a terminal may comprise: obtaining target satellite-related information from a source satellite; performing satellite switching from the source satellite to a target satellite based on the target satellite-related information; and performing communication with the target satellite based on the target satellite-related information after performing the satellite switching.
Abstract:
A method of a terminal may comprise: acquiring, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) base station, system information (SI) including information indicating either a (quasi-) Earth-fixed cell or an Earth-moving cell (EMC); in response to the SI indicating an EMC, calculating a first distance between a location of the terminal and a reference location; and determining whether to perform measurement for cell reselection based on a comparison result between the first distance and a threshold distance included in the SI and ephemeris information of a satellite included in the SI.
Abstract:
A D2D (Device-to-Device) communication method is provided which enables a first terminal of a first group to directly communicate with other terminals of the first group without relay of a base station. The first terminal receives first data from a second terminal. The first terminal determines whether the first data is destined for the first group by using a group identifier of the first data. When the first data is destined for the first group, the first terminal identifies at least one first RLC entity, among multiple RLC (Radio Link Control) entities, that corresponds to the second terminal by using the source terminal identifier of the first data.
Abstract:
A signaling method for a terminal that performs direct communication between terminals terminal is disclosed. A transmitting terminal transmits a link establishment request message for establishing a link to a receiving terminal, and the receiving terminal transmits a link establishment response message responding to this message to the transmitting terminal. The link establishment request message includes a field indicating a flow to use if the receiving terminal acquires a token.
Abstract:
A handover method performed by a terminal in a non-terrestrial network may comprise transmitting a measurement report including measurement results for neighbor cells to a serving satellite base station; receiving, from the serving satellite base station, connection configuration information for at least one target base station candidate and information on an activation time when the connection configuration information for the at least one target base station candidate is activated; and performing a handover to a first target base station candidate among the at least one target base station candidate based on information received from the at least one target base station candidate at the activation time.
Abstract:
Disclosed are operation methods of communication node supporting direct communications in network. The operation method comprises obtaining scheduling information configured for the direct communications from a first base station; identifying modulation and coding scheme (MCS) information and radio resource information included in the scheduling information; and transmitting, to a second UE, a first message to which a MCS indicated by the MCS information is applied through radio resources indicated by the radio resource information. Therefore, performance of a communication system can be enhanced.
Abstract:
Methods for preventing address collisions in device-to-device (D2D) communications are disclosed. An operation method of a first terminal in a wireless communication network may comprise configuring an internet protocol (IP) address of the first terminal used for D2D communications; generating an announcement frame based on an address resolution protocol (ARP) including the IP address; and transmitting the announcement frame. Thus, a problem of collisions between IP addresses in D2D communications can be resolved.
