    Abstract: In an embodiment, a slide component includes one slide part 5 provided, on a low-pressure side of a sealing face thereof, with a negative pressure generation mechanism 10 including a negative pressure generation groove 10. The negative pressure generation groove 10a communicates with a high-pressure fluid side and is separated from a low-pressure fluid side by a land portion R. Another slide part 1 is provided, in a sealing face thereof, with at least one interference groove 15 communicating with the high-pressure fluid side for producing pressure variations in a fluid in the negative pressure generation groove 10a. The at least one interference groove 15 has an end 15a on an inside-diameter side extending to a position to radially overlap the negative pressure generation groove 10a.

    Abstract: A fluid is actively taken into sealing faces and discharged from the sealing faces to prevent concentration of sediment causative substances on the sealing faces and prevent generation of sediment while preventing leakage of the fluid taken into the sealing faces to a low pressure fluid side. A fluid circulation groove includes an inlet side section where the fluid comes in from a high pressure fluid side and an outlet side section where the fluid goes out to the high pressure fluid side in one of sealing faces of a pair of sliding parts that slide on each other. The fluid circulation groove is isolated from the low pressure fluid side by a land section. Groove width of the outlet side section of the fluid circulation groove is gradually expended toward an outlet end.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, a slide component includes a circular ring-shaped stationary-side seal ring 5 fixed to a stationary side and a circular ring-shaped rotating-side seal ring 3 rotating with a rotating shaft 1, and relatively rotates respective opposed sliding faces S of the stationary-side seal ring 5 and the rotating-side seal ring 3, thereby sealing a sealed fluid present on one side in a radial direction of the sliding face relatively rotating and sliding, wherein the sealed fluid is a silicate containing fluid; and on at least either one sliding face of the stationary-side seal ring 5 and the rotating-side seal ring 3, an amorphous carbon film 10 formed by using hydrocarbon gas not containing organosilicon compound gas in a plasma CVD method is laminated. The slide component can seal a silicate containing sealed fluid to which silicate is added.
