Abstract: In dense Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) deployments, Access Points (APs) in other Extended Service Sets (ESSs) can be hidden (a first AP does not receive signals from a third AP). However, these APs in other ESSs can still interfere with communications between the third AP and the devices communicating with the first AP. To improve service to that device in that situation, the first AP needs information about the third AP in the first AP's decision making processes. In these situations, a second AP, in contact with the third AP, can share information about the third AP with the first AP so that the first AP can avoid colliding with the third AP.

Abstract: Management of radio resources of a wireless network according to a Flexible Radio Assignment (FRA) mode may be provided. For each Access Point (AP) of the wireless network: a type of AP may be identified including determining whether each AP has Multi-Link (ML) capability, and when the FRA mode is for performance, a bias may be applied to each ML capable AP to reduce a likelihood of a radio of each ML capable AP being identified as a redundant radio. For each Client Device (CD) of the wireless network, an identification of whether each CD has ML capability may be made, and a radio configuration of at least one ML capable AP may be tailored to support one or more ML capable CDs.

Abstract: Systems and methods herein can analyze a bandwidth restriction in a communication stream of an Access Point (AP). Then, based on the bandwidth restriction, the AP can determine a lower amount of wireless bandwidth to provide to station wireless communicating to the AP. The AP can then modify a bandwidth allocation assigned to the station based on the lower amount of wireless bandwidth.

Abstract: Location-aware spatial reuse may be provided. First, an Overlapping Basic Service Set (OBSS) transmission to be received at a device may be detected by a first Access Point (AP). Then the location of the device may be determined. Next, based on the determined location, it may be determined that the device is out of range of the first AP. Then, in response to determining that the device is out of range of the first AP, the first AP may perform an OBSS Packet Detect (PD) based Spatial Reuse (SR) transmission without reducing a transmit (Tx) power for the transmission.

Abstract: Pattern recognition and classification of packet error characteristics for Multi-user Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) optimization may be provided. First, a packet error characteristic data of a channel for a Downlink (DL) Multi-user (MU) group may be received. Next, the received packet error characteristic data may be provided as input data to a classifier model. Then, in response to providing the received packet error characteristic data as the input data to the classifier model, output data may be received from the classifier model. The output data may indicate at least one probability value corresponding to at least one channel effect. An optimization for improving performance of DL MU-MIMO in the presence of the at least one channel effect may then be performed when the at least one probability value is above or below a predetermined level.

Abstract: Bypassing radar in wide Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) channels utilizing puncturing may be provided. A first client device may be classified as eligible for puncturing and a second client device may be classified as not eligible for puncturing. Next, it may be determined that a subchannel in a bandwidth range should not be used. Then, in response to determining that the subchannel in the bandwidth range should not be used, the first client device may be steered to a first subset of the bandwidth range and the second client device may be steered to a second subset of the bandwidth range. The second subset of the bandwidth range may be smaller than the first subset of the bandwidth range.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a service receives radar data regarding usage of one or more wireless channels by a radar. The service populates a database of radar features with the received radar data. The service trains, using the database of radar features, a machine learning-based model to predict channel usages by the radar. The service causes a wireless access point to change to a different wireless channel, based on the predicted channel usages by the radar.
