    摘要： A metering valve (10) having a bi-directional motor (11) with a linearly-displaceable output shaft (21) in which the shaft (21) is separated from but cooperates with a bi-directionally movable piston (16) to provide a variable flow aperture (102) in a secondary flow path (12,52,74,78,76,102,100,48) extending axially through the piston (16). Flow along a primary flow path (12,18,48,14) is varied by movement of the piston (16) in response to an imbalance of opposing hydraulic forces. The imbalance in forces results from varying the foresaid flow aperture (102) by displacing the output shaft (21). However, the flow aperture (102) is only transitorily varied by displacement of the shaft (21) since the valve (10) is designed to provide a follow-up servo function by which the piston (16) is kept at a substantially constant distance from the shaft (21).

    摘要： A large flow of high pressure fuel is supplied to a gas turbine engine by mounting a small modified vortex pump over or around a main high speed shaft. The pump includes a plurality of short, stubby impeller blades rotating at a very high speed within a fuel filled annular chamber having an axial fuel inlet and a tangential fuel outlet. A pump booster and priming system ensures the pump fills with fuel during operation.

    摘要： The Pet Waste Collection and Disposal Device is a single use Pet Waste Collection and Disposal Device comprising, a handle, and a flexible formed collector. The handle may be formed of any material sufficiently rigid to force the formed collector into the open position shown. The flexible formed collector may be fabricated of paper, plastic, or any other material of sufficient durability to withstand the stresses of opening, closing, and carriage. The user transitions The Pet Waste Collection and Disposal Device from the closed to the open state by grasping the handle and contacting the ground, or other surface, with the leading edge. Upon contacting the ground or other surface the forward motion imparted by the user causes the handle to pivot in an arc causing the flexible formed collector to open.

    摘要： A RF transaction device is provided, which is operable to store multiple distinct data sets owned by unrelated data set owners, wherein the distinct data sets may include differing formats. The method includes the steps of: adding, by a read/write, a first data set to the RF transaction device, wherein the first data set is owned by a first owner; adding, by the read/write device, a second data set to the RF transaction device, wherein the second data set is owned by a second owner; and storing the first data set and the second data set on the RF transaction device in accordance with an owner defined format. The first and second data sets may each be stored as a Block of Binary. The first and second data sets are associated with first and second owners, respectively, and are configured to be stored independent of each other and in accordance with the particular data set storage protocol.
