摘要： An apparatus and a method for improving performance of an equalizer in a wireless communication system are provided. The apparatus of a reception end includes a search unit and an estimator. The search unit determines power values of respective taps inside a window based on a signal received via a pilot channel, and classifies the taps into one or more meaningful taps and one or more noise taps. The estimator allocates one or more 1-tap channel estimators to the one or more meaningful taps, and determines a channel estimation vector based on a channel estimation value of the one or more meaningful taps determined by the one or more 1-tap channel estimators.

In the gap filler, a satellite tuner demodulates the received satellite broadcasting signal and outputs the demodulated satellite broadcasting signal, a frame constructer forms frames by modulating the demodulated satellite broadcasting signal, and inserting a gap filler ID into a control channel frame, and a radio processor transmits the frames received from the frame constructer at a radio frequency.

The transparent display device may include a liquid crystal panel; a light source disposed at one side of a lower portion of the liquid crystal panel to emit light; a first polarizing plate for polarizing the light emitted from the light source; a light guide plate disposed at a lower portion of the liquid crystal panel to totally reflect the light polarized to an axis by the first polarizing plate to a lateral surface thereof and supply to the liquid crystal panel, and transmit natural light entered from a lower direction therethrough; and a second polarizing plate disposed at an upper portion of the liquid crystal panel to control the amount of polarized light passing through the liquid crystal panel.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving an EPG when a digital broadcasting system uses different frequency channels according to broadcasters. In the apparatus and method, the digital broadcasting system determines a first frequency channel for transmitting first EPG data for all broadcasting programs, transmits the first EPG data through the first frequency channel at a first data rate, and transmits second EPG data through second frequency channels at a second data rate less than the first data rate, the second EPG data including both broadcasting streams of a corresponding frequency channel and at least part of the first EPG data. A receiving terminal receives the first EPG data through the first frequency channel, or receives broadcasting program data through one of the second frequency channels and simultaneously receives the second EPG data to updates the first EPG data.

In such a method and a system, a terminal receives a signal transmitted from a repeater to calculate received performance information of the signal and then transmits the received performance information to an administration center if the received performance information is equal to or greater than a reference error value. The administration center controls the repeater based on the received performance information transmitted from the terminal. The repeater adjusts transmission signal intensity or a transmission angle based on a control signal transmitted from the administration center.
