    Abstract: A dust suppression system for a demolition hammer is disclosed. The dust suppression system may have a water hose routed within a power cell of the demolition hammer, and a connector channel internal of the walls of a front head of the demolition hammer. The water hose may be utilized to deliver water from outside of the demolition hammer to a connection valve on a top end of the front head, and the internal connector channel may deliver water from the connection valve to one or more nozzles located at a bottom end of the front head.

    Abstract: A hydraulic hammer includes a housing defining a cutout and a power cell slidably received within the housing. The power cell includes a valve assembly extending from a side of the power cell. The valve assembly is at least partially received within the cutout of the housing. The hydraulic hammer further includes a pair of wear plates at least partially disposed around the valve assembly of the power cell. Each of the pair of wear plates is coupled to at least one of the power cell and the housing.

    Abstract: A hydraulic hammer is provided. The hydraulic hammer includes a fluid inlet configured to receive a pressurized fluid for running the hydraulic hammer and a fluid outlet for discharging hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic hammer. A bypass passage fluidly connects the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, the bypass passage has a bypass inlet fluidly connected to the fluid inlet and a bypass outlet fluidly connected to the fluid outlet. An automatic shut-off valve is disposed in the bypass passage between the bypass inlet and the bypass outlet and is configured to open or close the bypass passage. The automatic shut-off valve is configured to open the bypass passage under pressure of the pressurized fluid on continuous running of the hydraulic hammer for a set time to stop the hammer.

    Abstract: A hydraulic hammer assembly is provided. The hydraulic hammer assembly includes a housing and a piston is arranged for reciprocating movement along a longitudinal axis within the housing. A head disposed along the longitudinal axis on an end of the housing and defines a chamber for holding a pressurized gas. The hydraulic hammer assembly further includes a locking mechanism to lock the head on the housing. The locking mechanism includes at least one first flange extending radially from the end of the housing and at least one second flange extending radially from the head, wherein the head is retained on the housing by blocking axial movement of the second flange against the first flange when in a locked position.

    Abstract: An enclosure for a power cell of a hydraulic hammer includes a single-piece hollow elongated body, a resilient cover, and multiple deformable plugs. The body includes a top flange, and an integrally formed polyhedral mid-portion. The mid-portion includes multiple sidewalls, and an end wall that is integral with a bottom end of the sidewalls. The sidewalls define a first sealing aperture, a second sealing aperture, and a pair of arcuate openings thereon. The resilient cover includes laterally disposed first and second portions that are configured to releasably engage with the body to cover a top portion and a bottom portion of the arcuate opening respectively. The deformable plugs are releasably engaged with the body at the first and second sealing apertures. The plugs include resilient members that co-operate with interfitting features located adjacent to the first and second sealing apertures of the body.

    Abstract: A hammer assembly including a hammer housing and a work tool movably supported in the hammer housing is provided. A gas chamber is defined in the hammer housing and contains a compressible gas. An accumulator assembly includes an interior space. A barrier divides the interior space into a first interior portion containing a compressible gas and a second interior portion configured to receive a pressurized fluid.
