Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, systems, and methods for tissue resection in a body lumen of a patient, and may include a body extending along an axis and a distal cap positioned distally of the body and coupled to a shaft extending along the axis. The body and the distal cap may be movable relative to each other. An anchoring mechanism may be capable of engaging the body and the distal cap proximate a selected tissue for resection in the body lumen. A tissue capture device may be deployable from the tissue resection device such that a selected tissue for resection is securable by the tissue capture device. The tissue resection device may further include a tissue resecting device for resecting the selected tissue for resection.

Abstract: A closure device includes a first ring structure having a first distal portion and a first medial portion and a second ring structure having a second distal portion and a second medial portion. The first and second distal portions are movable between an open position, where the first and second distal portions form an angle relative to one another for receiving target tissue therebetween, and a closed position, where the first and second distal portions are drawn toward one another for gripping the target tissue. The device also includes an anvil about which the first and second medial portions are formed. Either one of proximal motion of the anvil relative to the first and second rings or proximal motion of the medial portions relative to the anvil causes the first and second distal portions to move into either one of the open position or the closed position.

Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to medical devices. More particularly, the present disclosure pertains to tissue clip devices and related systems and methods. In an embodiment, a tissue clip may include a grasper including jaws at a first end, and a spring portion at a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending along a length of the grasper from the first end to the second end, wherein the spring portion is configured to bias the jaws toward each other. A wedge may be slidably disposed between the jaws such that an apex of the wedge is oriented toward the spring portion. A filament may be coupled to the wedge at a first end of the filament and may extend through a channel of the spring portion of the grasper to a second end of the filament.

An example medical device may include a shaft, a sleeve attached to the shaft, cutter slidable within the sleeve, a cinch sleeve releasably coupled to the sleeve, and a cinch member. An elongated inner shaft may extend through and be longitudinally movable within the elongated shaft, sleeve, cutter, cinch sleeve, and cinch member. The inner shaft may be actuated to cinch and cut one or more suture disposed within the device.

Abstract: A clipping device includes a capsule and a pair of clip arms, proximal ends of the clip arms slidably received within the channel of the capsule such that the clip arms are movable relative to the capsule between an open configuration and a closed configuration. Abstract: A tissue-engagement member having a pair of jaws movable between a closed configuration and an open configuration, an actuator movable to shift the jaws between the closed and open configurations, and a biasing element biasing the jaws into a closed configuration. The biasing element may be provided over a portion of the tissue-engagement member. A cam mechanism may be provided in operative association with at least one of the jaws and/or the actuator. The biasing element may operatively engage at least one of the jaws and/or the actuator to actuate the cam mechanism to return the jaws to a closed configuration from an open configuration. A manipulator having an actuator-engagement element may be provided to engage an actuation element operatively associated with the actuator. The actuator-engagement element may operatively engage the actuation element in a range of orientations.

Abstract: A medical device includes a mounting structure that is adapted to be secured to a distal end of an endoscope. A first suture arm is pivotably secured to the mounting structure and is adapted to releasably secure a needle that is adapted to puncture tissue while accommodating a suture. A second suture arm is pivotably secured to the mounting structure and is adapted to releasably secure the needle. The first suture arm and the second suture arm cooperate to pass the needle back and forth therebetween along an arcuate path.
