This disclosure relates to the technical field of display apparatus, and in particular to a display apparatus and a vehicle utilizing the same. The display apparatus comprises a transmitting device for forming privacy images on a front windshield of a vehicle body and polarized glasses for viewing the privacy images. In the above technical solutions, privacy images are formed on the front windshield of the vehicle body by the transmitting device, such that the formed images will not interfere with the driver's driving. Meanwhile, the passengers can view the images on the front windshield by wearing the polarized glasses. By using the above transmitting device to form privacy images on the front windshield, an area of display is enlarged to facilitate the passengers' viewing. Passengers sitting in the rear portion of the vehicle can clearly view the images, and the visual effect during the passengers' viewing is improved.

The invention discloses a display panel which includes a liquid crystal cell; a first polarizer, arranged on a light inputting side of the liquid crystal cell; and a second polarizer, a polarization direction of which is perpendicular to a polarization direction of the first polarizer, wherein the second polarizer is detachably arranged on a light outputting side of the liquid crystal cell and is able to cover a valid display region of the display panel. The invention also discloses a display device which includes above display panel and polarized glasses. When there are no confidential files, the second polarizer covers a valid display region of display panel; when there are confidential files to be processed, the second polarizer is removed from the valid display region of display panel. Therefore, it is possible to effectively improve the availability of the display panel and the display device having said display panel.

The vision testing method and apparatus can concurrently test vision and ability for distinguishing colors concurrently by using vision synthetic-testing pictures, wherein a character in the vision synthetic-testing picture is used to test the vision, and color combination in the vision synthetic-testing picture is used to test the ability for distinguishing colors.

The illumination device includes a support member and a liquid crystal display panel mounted on the support member. The liquid crystal display panel includes a display area and a light emitting area, the liquid crystal display panel is provided with a first polarization sheet at its light incoming side in areas corresponding to the display area and the light emitting area, and is provided with a second polarization sheet at its light outgoing side only in area corresponding to the display area. The illumination device emits white light and can be used as an ordinary lamp because its light emitting area cannot be observed in the naked eye state, and when observed through the dedicated glasses or the analyzer, the content of the secret information displayed by the liquid crystal display panel can be seen.
