摘要: A motion-restraint arrangement (48) with elongate lines of elements (10), wherein each line of elements (10) has a number of individual elements (12) which can be erected by spring elements (20) from a small-volume thin storage condition into a large-volume active condition. Each respective individual element (12) has flexible lateral edge elements (16, 18), which in the active condition define a parallelepiped. The spring elements (20) extend in spatially diagonal relationship between the corners (22) of the respective parallelepiped (14). A motion-restraint arrangement (48) which is easy and inexpensive to produce and which has optimum restraint properties is obtained in that the spatially diagonal spring elements (20) are formed by spring wires (24), which extend in a zigzag shape in the longitudinal direction of the respective line of elements (10).

摘要: The present invention relates to a device for a beverage brewing machine for the heating and emulsification of liquids, in particular for the preparation of the coffee with milk beverage "Cappuccino". The device comprises a pipe and a nozzle succeeding in the lower section to the bore, from the orifice of which nozzle hot steam exits during operation. The nozzle is encompassed by the pipe such that an annular chamber is formed around the nozzle, which chamber is open in the direction of flow. The open end of the annular chamber extends beyond the orifice of the nozzle. Apertures are formed at the pipe at the level of the orifice of the nozzle, through which the air, which is necessary for the emulsification, can enter the annular chamber. Further, rib structure is provided at the pipe which permits a user to keep a defined distance between the orifice of the nozzle and the liquid's surface by visual check. Handling is considerably simplified during the emulsification of milk, because the visual check means permits a user to easily maintain the distance of the orifice of the nozzle from the surface of the milk. Good froth results are obtained.

摘要: An assembly for a motor-vehicle friction clutch, in which a pressure plate and a pressure spring are preassembled in a clutch casing. The pressure plate can move in the axial direction with respect to the clutch casing and is connected to the clutch casing in a rotationally fixed manner by means of leaf springs. A releasable transport securing device prevents the pressure plate from moving in the axial direction toward the open side of the clutch casing. The securing device acts between a stop area, which limits the axial displacement of the pressure plate or is formed by said pressure plate, and a corresponding opposing stop area on the clutch casing. The transport securing device is a locking element which is held between the stop area and the opposing stop area by frictional force or a form fit, and can be disengaged by spring force when the clutch is fitted or when the clutch is first actuated.

摘要: For measuring the level of a material in a vessel by a radar-based method an antenna arranged above the highest level anticipated radiates electromagnetic waves to the surface of the material contained in the vessel and receives reflected echo waves. The transit time of the wanted echo waves reflected by the material surface is measured from which the level is computed. Since this transit time corresponds to the group delay, for determining the reduction factor by which the group velocity of the electromagnetic waves differs from the velocity of propagation in the free space due to the geometry of the propagation space the phase difference of the wanted echo waves relative to a reference oscillation and the group delay are measured for various levels and the reduction factor is determined on the basis of the changes in the phase difference as a function of the group delay.

摘要: For monitoring a predetermined level of a liquid in a container an ultrasonic transducer is fitted on the outer surface of the container wall at a measurement point situated at the height of the level to be monitored. The ultrasonic transducer when excited by an alternating voltage pulse having a given transmission frequency which equals the thickness resonant frequency of the container wall, transfers an ultrasonic transmission pulse to the container wall and converts ultrasonic vibrations, generated by reflected echo pulses, into electrical reception signals that are transferred to an evaluation circuit. In the evaluation circuit, on the one hand the presence or absence of echo signals is detected, and, on the other, the ultrasonic vibrations generated by the after-vibration of the container wall at the end of the transmission pulse are evaluated. As a result of this it can be determined with high error detection reliability whether the measurement point is covered by the liquid or not and whether the measurement arrangement is working satisfactorily.

摘要: An ultrasonic converter (1) is proposed with a housing (5) and a cylindrical ceramic oscillator (2) of slight thickness with metal electrodes (7, 8), arranged at the front faces of the ceramic oscillator (2) and an adaptation layer (3) made of a synthetic material arranged between the front face of the ceramic oscillator (2) facing the irradiating medium and the membrane (6) of the ultrasonic converter (1) formed by the floor of the housing. The remaining free space of the housing (5) is filled with a synthetic damping layer (4) for damping the ceramic oscillator [2]. The innovation of the invention lies in that the damping layer (4) is formed from a silicon elastomer of high density with a large proportion of metal oxide, which can be mixed and applied mechanically during the gel phase of the adaptation layer (4).

摘要: A circuit configuration for a capacitive touch switch contains at least one sensor circuit with a capacitive sensor element which changes its capacitance value when touched, and an evaluation circuit which is supplied with an output signal from the sensor circuit in order to determine whether the capacitive sensor element is actuated or not. The at least one sensor circuit has a capacitance which is connected in parallel with the capacitive sensor element, and a capacitance/frequency converter which is connected to the parallel circuit containing the capacitance and the capacitive sensor element and generates, at its output, a frequency signal whose frequency depends on the total capacitance of the parallel circuit containing the capacitance and the capacitive sensor element. The evaluation circuit may thus use a significant change in the frequency of the output signal from the sensor circuit to deduce, in a simple manner, that the capacitive sensor element has been touched.
