摘要： Apparatus for and method of reducing spherically shaped fluid coke waste by-product pellets into a pulverized condition for use as a fuel in which there is a first grinding and pulverizing mill initially receiving the waste material which, because of its spherical shape is difficult to pulverize, and accordingly the waste material is transported to a second grinding mill where its spherical shape is altered to render it more easily pulverizable upon return to the first grinding mill where the final pulverizing of the waste material takes place prior to discharge to a point of use which may be to directly fire a furnace, a boiler or a kiln. The waste material is usually rather wet and requires drying so as not to choke the grinding apparatus, and for this purpose heat generated during the burning of the pulverized waste material is returned to the apparatus for the purpose of drying the waste material during its processing in the respective mills.

摘要： The invention directed to compounds that are specific inhibitors of PKC delta, and methods and compositions for the treatment and prevent of cancers and other disorders. Compositions comprising compounds of the invention are used to treat cancers such as, for example, carcinoid and neuroendocrine tumors, malignant melanomas, pancreatic, gastrointestinal and lung cancers. Neuroendocrine tumor cell lines of pulmonary and gastrointestinal origin are surprisingly sensitive to PKC delta inhibition by the compounds of the invention. The invention is further directed to methods, compositions and kits containing compounds of the formulas (Ia), (Ib), (IIa), (IIb), (IIIa), (IIIb), (IVa), (IVb), and (V) as disclosed and described in FIGS. 11 and 12.

摘要： A patient positioning system for radiation therapy, including an elongated table, a lock bar positioned on the table and extending perpendicular to a length of the table, and first and second clamps secured to opposing ends of the lock bar. The clamps are adapted to grip flat surfaces of sides of the table so as to secure the lock bar in a fixed position along the length of the table. The second clamp is adjustably secured on the lock bar so that the second clamp can be unsecured from the lock bar, the lock bar can be re-positioned on the table as desired, and the second clamp then re-secured to the lock bar to fix the lock bar in place on the table. The system also includes a patient restraint member secured to the lock bar and adapted to extend over a patient lying on the table.

摘要： An apparatus and method for installing a post particularly for use with vinyl fencing. The apparatus includes a mounting fitting having a first member defining a web and an aperture and a second member defining a peripheral surface. The aperture formed by the first member is disposable about a stake such that the first member is engageable with the outer surface of the stake to frictionally support the mounting fitting thereon. The peripheral surface of the second member is connected to the first member by the web and is engageable with the inner surface of a hollow post to frictionally support the post about the stake. The related method for installing a post includes the steps of securing a mounting stake to a surface, frictionally coupling a mounting fitting to the stake, and sliding a hollow post about the stake and mounting fittings such that the mounting fitting frictionally supports the hollow post about the stake.

摘要： A marine propeller using the circulation control principle of blowing tantially over a Coanda surface at the trailing edge of each blade to develop high blade lift (thrust). Each blade has internal chambers and two blowing slots so that blowing is controllable for forward and for reverse thrust without reversing rotational direction of the propeller. This propeller is capable of generating much greater thrust and ship speed at lower RPM and noise levels than conventional propellers.
