    Abstract: A transceiver that implements a high dynamic range NFC reader mode receiver may include a transmitter circuit to generate a transmit (TX) signal for communication to a first device via an antenna. The transceiver may further include a receiver circuit that is in communication with the first device via the antenna. The receiver circuit includes a mixer circuit and an adder circuit. The mixer circuit mixes a carrier signal with a first signal to generate a baseband signal. The adder circuit is coupled to the antenna and produces the first signal by adding a receive (RX) signal with a second signal to reduce a component of the TX signal included in the RX signal. The second signal is produced by processing a TX clock signal generated by the transmitter circuit.

    Abstract: Accessory devices are described herein. An accessory device may include a receptacle for receiving an electronic device. The accessory device may include a case that covers the housing of the electronic device, or a folio that additionally includes a cover can conceal the display of the electronic device. Accessory devices described herein further include wireless circuitry used to communicate with wireless circuitry in the electronic device. The wireless circuitry can be used for various functions and features. For instance, the wireless circuitry in the accessory device can respond to authentication requests from the electronic device, and/or to send authentication requests to the electronic device. Further, the wireless circuitry in the accessory device can send information to the electronic device. Such information may include properties of the accessory device, or information stored on the accessory device that is presented on a display of the electronic device.

    Abstract: To establish a connection between electronic devices some embodiments include a system, method, and/or computer program product for password pairing user-interface devices in wireless proximity. A first electronic device (e.g., a keyboard) transmits an advertising packet, and receives a password, where the password has been generated by a second electronic device (e.g., a smartphone) and the password enables pairing between the first electronic device and the second electronic device. The first electronic device transmits a message including the password to the second electronic device, where the second electronic device is within a predefined range of the first electronic device. In some embodiments the first device receives a command from the second electronic device to transition to a discovery mode, transitions to the discovery mode, and transmits a confirmation to the second electronic device that the first device is in the discovery mode.

    Abstract: A device implementing a system for preventing duplicate wireless transactions includes a wireless communication controller that is configured to receive a signal for conducting a wireless transaction with a wireless transaction terminal. The wireless communication controller is further configured to determine whether a transaction type of the wireless transaction is associated with a signal strength threshold. The wireless communication controller is further configured to measure a signal strength associated with the wireless transaction upon determining that the transaction type of the wireless transaction is associated with the signal strength threshold. The wireless communication controller is further configured to prevent the wireless transaction from completing when the transaction type of the wireless transaction is associated with the signal strength threshold and the measured signal strength fails to satisfy the signal strength threshold, otherwise allow the wireless transaction to complete.
