Abstract:
An apparatus and method for estimating the number of objects in an input image are disclosed. The apparatus includes: a learning unit that calculates counted values of a linear regression function by learning an arbitrary image; a separation unit that separates a foreground region and a background region of the input image; an extraction unit that searches for features that require an amount of calculation that is below a particular threshold from features having high correlation with each other feature and extracts the features from the separated foreground region; and an estimation unit that estimates the number of objects in the foreground region as a dependent variable by allocating the counted values of the linear regression function that are calculated by the learning unit and the features that are extracted by the extraction unit as independent variables of a linear regression function.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an eyeglass device having two pairs of glasses which are integrated together by placing one pair of glasses over the other pair of glasses. There have been methods by which two pairs of glasses are combined into one pair of glasses. However, these glasses have had several problems such as weak combining strength or removal of one pair of glasses for their storage. The present invention comprises primary glasses and auxiliary glasses, the auxiliary glasses being attached to the primary glasses by insert slots formed in the primary glasses in order to improve the combining strength, and are able to be folded up when not used in order to provide the same effect as being removed, without being removed from the primary glasses.

A device for fixing a measuring instrument for inspecting a display includes a fixed frame unit detachably mounted on the top end of a display, a moving frame extending upward and downward and mounted to be liftable on the fixed frame unit, and an elevating unit which is mounted to be liftable on the moving frame and on which a measuring instrument for inspecting a display is detachably mounted.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to a condensation prevention type transmission window for a CMS module test chamber, the transmission window being provided at the module test chamber. The condensation prevention type transmission window includes: a multilayer glass panel in which heating wires are coated on upper, lower, left, and right side surfaces thereof; and an air injector provided at each of opposite surfaces of the transmission window to inject air from an upper side edge and/or a lower side edge of the transmission window and to form an air curtain. The present invention provides the condensation prevention type transmission window for a CMS module test chamber, which prevents freezing and fogging on inside and outside surfaces of the transmission window of the CMS module test chamber varying in a temperature range from 40° C. to +125° C.
Abstract:
A semiconductor memory device having an externally controllable input and output mode is provided. The semiconductor memory device includes a first and second plurality of pads and an input and output mode set circuit electrically connected to the first plurality of pads and the second plurality of pads, for generating a plurality of input and output mode signals. The input and output mode set circuit cuts off signals received from the first plurality of pads, controls the level of each of the input and output mode signals to be at either a logic high level and a logic low level, and sets the input and output mode when a voltage higher than the supply voltage of the semiconductor memory device is applied to one of the second plurality of pads in a test mode. The high voltage is not applied to the second plurality of pads and the input and output mode set circuit controls the level of the input and output mode signals to be at either a logic high level or a logic low level, and thus sets the semiconductor memory device to have one input and output mode responsive to signals received from the plurality of pads, during a normal operation. Accordingly, it is possible to externally change the input and output mode of the semiconductor memory device.
Abstract:
A gold-silver based wire for a semiconductor package has high humidity reliability as well as high dry reliability. The wire includes a first additive ingredient that contains 5˜15 wt % of at least one kind of elements from among first group elements composed of palladium (Pd) and platinum (Pt) added to a gold (Au)-silver (Ag) based alloy that contains 10˜40 wt % of Ag added to Au.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pair of glasses comprising an inner or lower pair of glasses for correcting vision deficiencies and an outer or upper pair of glasses that provides protection from the sun's rays. The outer pair is removably attached to the inner pair by means of inter-locking hooks having magnets, the inner pair having magnets located at the right and left intersections between the frame and the ear pieces. The outer pair of glasses comprises a corresponding pair of magnets located on the ends of inter-locking hooks at the right and left ends of the outer pair frame. When the outer pair and inner pair are assembled, the magnets hold the pair together by means of magnetic force while the inter-locking hooks provide additional strength and stability in the vicinity of the magnets, to allow the user more freedom to engage in activities and sports.
