    摘要: This V-type engine has first and second banks of cylinders, each odd in number, with first intake and exhaust cam shafts provided along the first cylinder head and second intake and exhaust cam shafts provided along the second cylinder head. One of the first intake and exhaust cam shafts, and one of the second intake and exhaust cam shafts, is rotationally driven from the crank shaft. A first intake cam shaft gear wheel is provided on the first intake cam shaft at a longitudinal position between the middle cylinder of the first bank of cylinders and the next cylinder to the rear from the middle cylinder, and a first exhaust cam shaft gear wheel, meshed with this first intake cam shaft gear wheel, is provided on the first exhaust cam shaft at a similar longitudinal position between the middle cylinder of the first bank of cylinders and the next cylinder to the rear therefrom. A second intake cam shaft gear wheel is provided on the second intake cam shaft at a longitudinal position between the middle cylinder of the second bank of cylinders and the next cylinder to the front from the middle cylinder, and a second exhaust cam shaft gear wheel, meshed with this second intake cam shaft gear wheel, is provided on the second exhaust cam shaft at a similar longitudinal position between the middle cylinder of the second bank of cylinders and the next cylinder to the front therefrom. Thereby, the bulges corresponding to these meshed pairs of gear wheels are brought as close together as practicable.

    摘要: In a keyboard displayed on a display, a desired character or symbol is efficiently input. A string field section, a key section, and an option section are displayed on a rear LCD, or the like, of a digital camera. A neutral key is provided in the option section. When a cursor is moved from the option section to the key section, operation means is operated with the cursor being situated at the neutral key, whereby the cursor is moved to the key section. After a character or a symbol has been selected by the option section, the cursor is automatically return to the neutral key.

    摘要: Support devices for automobile engine comprising attaching two buffers each comprising connecting the exterior surface of a metal shaft with the interior surface of a metal hollow cylinder arranged so as to surround the shaft in spaced relation by means of an elastic rubber member to provide higher and lower directions of the rigidities between the shaft and the metal cylinder at a plane perpendicular to the coextensive axes of the shaft and the metal cylinder in horizontal relation with respect to the coextensive direction of the shaft and the metal cylinder and connecting one end of either the shaft or the metal cylinder with the car body and another end thereof with the engine so that the coextensive line of the direction having higher rigidity intersects with a vertical plane through the center of gravity of the engine at a position below the intersection of the coextensive line directed to the direction having lower rigidity with the above-mentioned vertical plane to support symmetrically the engine on the car body in a laterally spaced relation, thereby eliminating the heavy noises generated by the operation of the automobile engine and preventing the separation of the engine from the car body.
