摘要: A touch screen mounting mechanism for mounting a touch screen on a housing includes a base, a mounting board fixed on the base, a push element slidably mounted on the base along the vertical direction of the base, drive members fixed on the mounting board and positioning elements slidably mounted on the surface of the mounting board and located around a positioning slot. The mounting board defines a positioning slot for retaining the touch screen and the housing, the push element defines driving wedge walls, the drive members are used to drive the push element to slide, each positioning element defines a following wedge wall resisting on one driving wedge wall, and in mounting, the following wedge walls are pushed by the driving wedge walls to slide towards the center of the positioning slot to position the touch screen and the housing in the correct order.

摘要: An application can be run and initial user interface definitions for the application can be loaded into memory. The application can use the initial user interface definitions in the memory to present an initial user interface for the application. In response to user input, one or more updates can be made to the initial user interface definitions in the memory, and the application can use the updated user interface definitions to present an updated user interface for the application. Presenting the initial user interface, making the updates, and using the updated definitions to present the updated user interface can be done while the application continues to run.

摘要: A WYSIWYG visual programming environment for programming applications for portable computer devices is provided. The developer selects a form skin based on the underlying portable computer device that the developer intends the application to execute on. The form skin appears to the developer as a graphic modeled after the actual device. The developer is able to drag and drop GUI elements onto the form, where they appear at approximately the same size and resolution as they would to the user of the actual device, regardless of the resolution used on the developer's computing device. The developer is able to associate code with the GUI elements, as well as any softkeys that appear on the form skin. The developer is able to test the application by emulating the hardware of the portable device, and operating the device using the form skin. Through the form skin, the developer is able to see nearly exactly how the application will look and operate on the underlying portable device without having to leave the development environment.

摘要: Overlay network peers may be grouped so that each peer in a peer group has a similar transport network proximity measure with respect to the peers in other peer groups. A first set of transport network distances may include distances between a peer group and peer group neighbors of the peer group. A second set of distances may include distances between a peer and the peer group neighbors of the peer group. The peer may decide to join the peer group if the first set of distances is near to the second set. A first peer group may query a second peer group for the second peer group's neighboring peer groups. The distance between the first peer group and each of the second peer group's neighbors may be measured. Overlay network connections may be established between the first peer group and the closest of the second peer group's neighbors.

摘要: Methods for screening compounds for their potential to induce or inhibit a cardiac arrhythmia are disclosed. The methods comprise determining the ratio of the time constant (τ) of ICa,L recovery in tissue expressing the L-type calcium channel or any subunit or combination thereof of the L-type calcium channel treated with a test compound to the ventricular repolarization time of cardiac tissue treated with a test compound. The methods further comprise determining an arrhythmic risk score for a specified dose of a test compound.

摘要: A software development tool, in the form of an integrated development environment (IDE), comprises a managed platform registry for managing the combination of compatible target platforms and versions of a software development framework. Each compatible combination of a platform and a version of the software development framework is assigned a unique managed platform ID. The managed platform IDs and information associated therewith are managed by the managed platform registry. The software development tool provides upgrade capability allowing a developer to use a newer version of the software development framework while maintaining the current target platform. The software development tool also provides the ability to switch target platforms while maintaining the current version of the software development framework.

摘要: As system for navigating primary media and meta-data on a computer system is described. The system involves accessing primary media from a primary media source, and accessing meta-data from a meta-data source. The system also involves generating a graphical user interface (GUI) for providing interaction between a user and the system in relation to the primary media. The GUI includes means for facilitating control of the primary media currently being played, and means for displaying a multidimensional graphical representation for depicting a timeline for indicating the current location of the primary media being played relative to a reference location in the primary media, and providing information relating to the meta-data associated with the primary media at the current location.
