    Abstract: A multi-band multi-antenna system and a communication device thereof are provided. The multi-band multi-antenna system includes at least one ground, two antenna units, a coupling conductor line and a grounding conductor line. Both of the two antenna units have at least one conductor portion, a low-pass filtering portion and an extending conductor portion. Each antenna unit generates at least one higher and lower operating bands. The low-pass filtering portion is electrically coupled between the conductor portion and the extending conductor portion, and effectively decreases dependent relationship between the higher and lower operating bands. The coupling conductor line is disposed nearby the two antenna units and has a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion. The grounding conductor line is disposed between the two antenna units and connected to the ground.

    Abstract: A multiband antenna having a ground plane and a radiating portion is provided. The radiating portion includes a first metal portion, a second metal portion, an inductively-coupled portion, and a third metal portion. The first metal portion has a first coupling metal portion and a signal feeding line electrically connected thereto. The second metal portion has a second coupling metal portion and a shorting metal portion electrically connected thereto with a shorting point connected to the ground plane. The first and second coupling metal portions are coupled and a capacitively-coupled portion is formed therebetween. The inductively-coupled portion is connected between the third and second metal portions. The first and second metal portions enable the antenna to generate a first operating band. The first, second and third metal portions enable the antenna to generate a second operating band, the frequencies of which are lower than those of the first operating band.

    Abstract: A mobile communication device includes a ground plane and an antenna. The antenna is disposed on a dielectric substrate and includes a radiating metal portion, a coupling metal portion, and an inductive shorting metal portion. The radiating metal portion provides a resonant path for the antenna to generate first and second operating bands. The coupling metal portion is coupled to the radiating metal portion to form a first coupling portion and is connected to a source through a connecting metal strip. One end of the inductive shorting metal portion is electrically connected to the radiating metal portion, and the other end is electrically connected to the ground plane. The inductive shorting metal portion includes a first fractional section coupled to the radiating metal portion to form a second coupling portion, and a second fractional section coupled to the coupling metal portion to form a third coupling portion.

    Abstract: An ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna and a plug-and-play (PnP) device using the same are provided. A dielectric substrate of the PnP device has a ground plane. The UWB antenna includes a radiating metal plate and a feeding portion. The radiating metal plate is in a non-ground region of the dielectric substrate and has at least a slit cut. An opening of the slit cut is at the edge of the radiating metal plate facing the ground plane. The feeding portion is also at the edge of the radiating metal plate facing the ground plate for feeding a signal to the antenna.

    Abstract: An ultra-wideband shorted dipole antenna includes a coaxial cable line and first and second open-loop radiating metal plates with substantially the same shape. The coaxial cable line has a central conducting wire and an outer grounder sheath.     Abstract: A broadband antenna is capable of generating an upper resonant mode (at about 700 MHz) from a first radiating arm and a lower resonant mode (at about 500 MHz) from a second radiating arm.     Abstract: A communication device and a method for enhancing impedance bandwidth of an antenna are provided. The communication device includes at least one ground, at least one antenna, a current-drawing conductor structure, and at least one coupling conductor structure. The antenna is electrically connected to the ground through a source and generates at least one operating frequency band for transmitting or receiving electromagnetic signals of at least one communication band.
