    摘要: Communication systems, media, and methods for authenticating and registering unauthenticated electronic devices are provided. The communication systems include authorized electronic devices that proxy authentication and registration for one or more unauthenticated electronic devices. The unauthenticated electronic devices connect to the authenticated electronic device over a personal area network and initiate a communication session—via the authenticated electronic devices—with an authentication server located on a secure broadband wireless network that connects the one or more authenticated electronic devices. When the authentication server authorizes the unauthenticated electronic devices to access the secure broadband wireless network, network configuration data is communicated to the unauthenticated electronic devices via the authenticated electronic devices.

    摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating call continuity when transferring calls between mobile access networks to voice over internet protocol networks. The method includes recognizing availability of a voice over internet protocol network during a voice call established via a wireless access network. Thereafter, a data connection between a user device and the voice over internet protocol network is established. A transfer of the voice call from the wireless access network to the voice over internet protocol network is initiated by initiating a three-way call. Such a three-way call includes a first portion routed to a destination device via a public switch telephone network and a second portion routed to the user device via the voice over internet protocol network.

    摘要: A communication system, media, and methods that proxy location information to location unaware devices are provided. The communication system includes a wireless device that connects to a cellular network and personal area network. The cellular network includes a Global Positioning System server that provides location information based on the current location of the wireless device. A location-unaware device communicates with the wireless device to receive location information via the wireless device when the wireless device is within a predetermined distance of the location-unaware device. The location unaware device connects to a service database to store the location information and queries the service database to complete communication requests generated by a plain-old-telephone-system device that is connects to the location unaware device.

    摘要: An aircraft mounted pulse radar unit transmits a low-energy, test output pulse and processes the resulting test return signal to determine the VSWR and whether the VSWR exceeds a predetermined threshold. If the VSWR exceeds the threshold, the unit prevents transmission of a nominal energy output pulse which might result in damage to the receiver due to an excessive energy level of the return signal. In one embodiment, the unit uses the VSWR to determine and enable output signals at reduced power levels such that energy levels of any return signals would be insufficient to damage the receiver.

In embodiments, an activation message is received from a non-provisioned mobile device identifying a user account.
