摘要: The present disclosure provides for spinal implants and plates including, for example, expandable plates deployable between a contracted position and an expanded position. The expandable plate may include an expandable body including a first portion and a second portion. The first portion may include a receiving cavity facing the proximal end, and a first through aperture extending in the proximal-to-distal direction. The second portion may include a lower end having a size and shape that corresponds to the receiving cavity, and a second through aperture extending in the proximal-to-distal direction. The expandable plate may include a locking screw and a nut. In at least some embodiments, in a locked position, the locking screw extends through the first through aperture and second through aperture, and is secured to the nut. In various embodiments, in an expanded position the first portion and second portion are farther away from one another relative to a contracted position.

摘要: An expandable implant movable between a contracted position and an expanded position, is disclosed. In various embodiments, the implant may include a superior endplate and an inferior endplate having proximal ramps and distal ramps disposed on an interior surface thereof, respectively. In various embodiments, a proximal set screw and a distal set screw may be independently coupled to a proximal wedge and a distal wedge. Upon rotation of the proximal set screw, the proximal wedge may act against the proximal ramps of the superior and inferior endplates and cause the implant to expand at the proximal end. Upon rotation of the distal set screw, the distal wedge may act against the distal ramps of the superior and inferior endplates and cause the implant to expand at the distal end. In some embodiments, a first eyelet and a second eyelet for supporting a corresponding bone screw, respectively, may be included.

摘要: A device for mixing a bone material with a liquid is provided. The device comprises a chamber having a proximal end and a distal end, and the bone material disposed within the chamber, the bone material comprising a DBM pellet of milled and lyophilized demineralized bone fibers; and a plunger having at least a portion slidably disposed within the proximal end of the chamber and configured to dispense the bone material mixed with liquid from the distal end of the chamber, when the plunger is in an extended position.

摘要: A spinal implant comprises at least one bone fastener including a proximal portion configured for fixation with a first anterior cortical surface of a vertebra and a distal portion configured for fixation with a second cortical surface of the vertebra. The proximal portion is engageable with a surgical driver having a surgical navigation component that generates data for display of an image representing position of the spinal implant relative to the vertebra. The spinal implant can be employed with cervical, thoracic, lumbar and/or sacral regions of a spine. Systems, surgical instruments and methods are disclosed.
