    摘要: A conductive connection structure for secondary batteries employs conductive portions disposed under two lateral sides of a cover plate to conductively connect to at least one battery cell. The conductive portions disposed under the two lateral sides of the cover plate are bendable, and the conductive portions are bent toward outer sides of the cover plate, so that the conductive portions are disposed horizontally; a connecting portion is extended upward respectively from an anode and a cathode terminals on two lateral sides of each of the battery cells, and the connecting portions and the conductive portions are electrically connected. By modifying the design of the connection structure of the battery cells and the two conductive portions under the cover plate, a time for soldering the battery cells and the conductive portions for conductive connection is reduced, the connection is tighter and more reliable and manpower cost is reduced.

    摘要: A unit for use within a furnace which is absent a controlled atmosphere, for carrying out a synthesizing process for synthesizing precursors to form a synthesized product at elevated temperatures. The unit consists of a vessel, having at least one opening, for containing materials of the synthesizing process, and a solid reductive material. The materials of the synthesizing process are separated from the atmosphere of the furnace by either the vessel or the reductive material. The unit is especially suited for synthesizing LiFePO4 from Fe2O3, Li2CO3, carbon black, and phosphoric acid precursors.

    摘要: A rechargeable battery and a method of fabricating which includes stacking a plurality of electrode pages having an uncoated portion between portions coated with an active electrode material. The electrode pages are arranged in a stack and an overall current collector is connected at the uncoated portion in order to form an electrode booklet. The overall current collector maintains the arrangement of the electrode pages and electrically connects all of the uncoated portions of the electrode pages. A tilted stack of electrode pages is utilized when a large number of electrodes are desired to result in a battery cell having a vertical orientation.
