Abstract:
In an air conditioner, reverse inhalation is prevented while broad band noise and wind sound are reduced. There are provided a projection 12b arranged at the leading end of a stabilizer 12 on the downstream side of an air stream F flowing along a surface 12a of the stabilizer opposing an impeller so as to protrude toward the impeller to define the shortest distance to the impeller, and a plurality of grooves 12e or projections provided on the opposing surface on the upstream side of the projection 12b so as to disturb the air stream flowing along the opposing surface 12a. The positions of the grooves 12e or the projections are arranged apart in a rotational axis direction E. A plurality of convex portions are provided so as to disturb an air stream flowing along a surface of a casing opposing the impeller, and the positions of the convex portions are arranged apart in the rotational axis direction of the impeller.
Abstract:
An etching process includes the steps of: preparing an etchant containing ferric chloride and an anticorrosive agent for Cu, and etching with said etchant a multi-layer metal structure including a Cu layer and an Ni layer. The etchant may preferably further contain ferrous chloride. The etching process is effective in making etching rates of the respective substantially equal, thus suppressing occurrence of burr portions of the Ni layers.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of manufacturing an organic light emitting device including the step of forming an electron injection layer. The step of forming the electron injection layer includes the steps of: vaporizing in a container a dopant material as a raw material of a dopant; causing the vaporized dopant material to pass a heated medium between the container and the substrate; and forming the organic compound into the electron injection layer. According to the method the organic light emitting device which has high electron injection efficiency and can be driven at a low voltage can be obtained.
Abstract:
An electrode plate, suitable for constituting a liquid crystal device, includes at least a light-transmissive substrate, a plurality of metal electrodes disposed on the light-transmissive substrate and with spacings therebetween, and an insulating layer disposed at the spacings. Each of the metal electrodes includes a first layer, disposed on the light-transmissive substrate comprising a metal or alloy selected from the group consisting of titanium, chronium, molybdenum, tungsten, aluminum, tantalum and nickel, a second layer comprising copper or silver dispersed on the first layer; and a third layer comprising a metal or alloy selected from the group consisting of molybdenum, tantalum, tungsten, titanium, chromium, nickel, aluminum and zinc and disposed on the second layer. The electrode plate is effective in providing a liquid crystal device with good display qualities, a durability and a productivity through improvements in an adhesiveness to the light-transmissive substrate and an antioxidizing property of the metal electrodes.
Abstract:
In a method for forming a diamond film by a high-frequency plasma CVD method, an inductive coupling discharge is used and the frequency of a high-frequency wave is set in the range of from 40 to 250 MHz, whereby a starting gas containing carbon is decomposed in a plasma state and a diamond film is formed on a substrate.
