    摘要: A contactless parallel data transfer device which is miniature, highly densed, and highly reliable having a coil block consisting of a first coil group installed in a portable memory and a coil block consisting of a second coil group installed in a data server for transferring access data in parallel between the portable memory (memory card, etc.) and the data server by contactless coupling, wherein the opposite coils of the first and second coil blocks are held close and opposite to each other on a contactless basis, and a parallel pulse group which is transferred in parallel between the both coil blocks is divided at least into a first parallel pulse group consisting of the first number of bits and a second parallel pulse group consisting of the second number of bits, and the parallel transfer timings of the both parallel pulse groups are different from each other, and an induced signal to the neighboring coils of each opposite coil pair of the first and second coil blocks is negated in the opposite phase.

    摘要: A magnetic head for write and read of information, the core of which is at least in part composed of magnetic metal thin layers and non-magnetic intermediate metal oxide layers alternately laminated is provided. The metal is a cobalt base amorphous alloy or permalloy and the metal oxide is selected from SiO, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, MgO and BaTiO.sub.3, which has a Vickers hardness of not less than 200 to less than 1,200. The use of the magnetic head does not injure a magnetic recording medium and contributes to improvement of the durability of the magnetic recording medium.

A display screen has first and second display areas for displaying first and second images generated by first and second drawing units, respectively. The apparatus displays a pointer image on an active area, which is one of the first and second display areas. In response to an input of user movement request for moving the pointer image into an inner edge portion of the active area, the apparatus switches the active area from the one of the first and second to the other, and switches the one into an inactive area, and the second drawing unit starts superimposing the pointer image on the other, and the first drawing unit stops superimposing the pointer image on the one.

    摘要: A composite magnetic head having a recording/playback head and an erasing head combined in one unit through a nonmagnetic material is constructed such that at least one of two core halves constituting the erasing head adjacent to the recording and reproducing head is made of single crystal ferrite, a plane (100) of the single crystal ferrite is substantially parallel to a principal magnetic path-forming plane, and an angle .theta. between an orientation existing in the plane (100) and an operating gap (magnetic gap)-forming plane is in the range of 10.degree.-40.degree. or 80.degree.-120.degree.. The composite magnetic head thus constructed can be made to have a reduced distance between magnetic gaps of both heads so as to be suited for being attached to the compact high-density recording and reproducing apparatus while eliminating crosstalk.
