摘要: A gear device in which lubricating oil for cooling and lubricating gears to be driven therein is adjusted to a temperature and an amount suitable for the speed of a vehicle, and a vehicle having the gear device mounted thereon. A transmission adjusts the temperature of lubricating oil by supplying the lubricating oil from a lower part of a housing of the transmission into a heat exchanger by a circulation pump and causing the lubricating oil and engine cooling water to exchange heat with each other in the heat exchanger. A level of the lubricating oil retained in an oil pan when the circulation pump is stopped is defined as a highest oil level, while the level of the lubricating oil retained in the oil pan when the amount of the lubricating oil pumped up by the circulation pump is maximum is defined as a lowest oil level. The heat exchanger is disposed at a position outside the housing and higher than the highest oil level. The transmission includes a device which controls the amount of the oil to be pumped up by the lubricating pump to adjust the height of the level of the oil which varies between the highest oil level and the lowest oil level.

摘要: A nonvolatile semiconductor memory device includes: a semiconductor substrate; a first gate electrode formed on the semiconductor substrate through a gate insulating film; a second gate electrode formed in a side direction of the first gate electrode and electrically insulated from the first gate electrode; and an insulating film formed at least between the semiconductor substrate and the second gate electrode to trap electric charge, as an electric charge trapping film. The first gate electrode comprises a lower portion contacting the gate insulating film and an upper portion above the lower portion of the first gate electrode, and a distance between the upper portion of the first gate electrode and the second gate electrode is longer than a distance between the lower portion of the first gate electrode and the second gate electrode.

摘要: Data delivery apparatus communicate with a plurality of terminals via a communication network. Member table stores a member ID and attribute data of each member. When a member logs in via a terminal, its communication address is written into the table in association with its member ID. When a command requesting delivery of particular data has been received from a terminal, the delivery apparatus refers to the table, on the basis of the communication address of the terminal having transmitted the command, to determine whether the attribute data corresponding to the member ID is indicative of a predetermined attribute. If so, the delivery apparatus reads out the particular data from a database and broadcasts the particular data to all of terminal apparatus having their respective communication addresses stored in the table. The delivery apparatus can broadcast data, transmitted from a terminal, to all of the members, with reference to the table. The broadcasted data may be stored in a sharing memory so that the data can be transmitted to another terminal having logged in at a later time. On the basis of performance data generated in response to performance of a musical instrument, an image indicative of the contents of the performance is created and then displayed along with a graphic image emulating the musical instrument.

摘要: The utilization of various distributed contents is restricted by a simple method, its restriction can be released, and an accurate collection of fees for the contents is made possible. A client terminal 30 sends a request of contents (musical scores) and a key file to a server 10 via a communication line 20. In response to the request of these, a WEB server 11 transmits the contents stored in a database 13, and a key issuing server 12 transmits the key file. The WEB server 11 charges a fee when the key file is requested. A viewer 32 can only display the musical scores in the absence of the key file. With the use of the key file, however, the viewer 32 can print the musical scores as well. The key file is formed in accordance with a random value that is synchronized with the timing of an instruction for purchasing the contents.
