An electronic component includes an oscillator element, a driving circuit outputting a driving signal to the oscillator element, a clock frequency generator outputting a clock signal to the driving circuit, a clock frequency controller controlling a frequency of the clock signal, a consumption-current detection unit detecting a consumption current of the driving circuit, and a fault detection unit electrically connected to the consumption-current detection unit and the clock frequency controller. When the clock frequency controller changes the frequency of the clock signal, the detected consumption current changes, and allows the consumption-current detection unit to detect the change of the consumption current. The fault detection unit detects a fault based on the change of the frequency of the clock signal and the change of the consumption current. This electronic component can have a fault detection function and a small size.

To provide a sheet shutter in which an urging member for urging an unwound, sheet toward the left and right outer side is provided so that the sheet is made to smoothly slide in the left and right direction and the wear of the urging member is suppressed. The sheet shutter according to the present invention is configured such that a rail groove is provided in each of left and right support posts, such that an inner rail is accommodated and supported in the rail grooves, such that engagement guides for guiding the lifting and lowering of the sheet formed in the inner rails, and such that, when the urging member is provided in the rail groove, an elastic sheet section for partitioning the inside of the rail groove into front and rear portions is provided at the urging member.

A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device is disclosed in which, after semiconductor function regions and patterns of interlayer insulating films including required contact holes are formed on one main surface side of a semiconductor substrate, an aluminum film or an aluminum alloy film which is thick is formed all over the main surface side of the semiconductor substrate and brought into conductive contact with the surface of the semiconductor substrate including bottom surfaces of the contact holes so as to form a required electrode film. Formation of the aluminum film or the aluminum alloy film is divided into a plurality of steps so that the thickness of the aluminum film or the aluminum alloy film is formed gradually, and between every two of the plurality of steps of forming the aluminum film or the aluminum alloy film, there is provided a step of performing isotropic etching to flatten irregularities in a surface of the aluminum film or the aluminum alloy film formed in the previous step. The method for manufacturing a semiconductor device prevents the formation of voids in the surface of an Al electrode film on the surface side of a semiconductor substrate.

A broad oscillation frequency range and good phase noise characteristic are achievable simultaneously by an oscillation circuit and a resonance circuit connected to the oscillation circuit. The resonance circuit includes an inductor element connected to the oscillation circuit, a first variable capacitance section connected to the inductor element, and a second variable capacitance section connected in parallel to the first variable capacitance section. The first variable capacitance section includes a first variable capacitive element connected to the inductor element, and a second variable capacitive element connected in parallel to the first variable capacitive element. The first variable capacitive element changes its capacity value based on a control voltage and a first reference voltage. The second variable capacitive element changes its capacity value based on the control voltage and a second reference voltage. The first reference voltage and the second reference voltage are controlled based on the capacity value of the second variable capacitance section.

In an engine such as an engine for driving a pump or dynamo, in which a load increasing state does not appear as an accelerating state of rotation speed, it is intended to prevent the smoke emission in an abruptly load-increasing state, which might otherwise be caused by the suppression or interruption of an EGR quantity. The engine 10 comprises a supercharger 11 and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) device 12. The engine 10 makes an isochronous control or a droop control, when its rotation speed N is shifted from a no-load (idle) or light-load run to a high-load (load-increasing) state. In case it is detected, when the state of the engine 10 shifts to a load state, that the actual rotation speed N becomes lower by a predetermined rotation speed ΔN than a target rotation speed Nm, an EGR valve 13 of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) device 12 is either throttled to an opening smaller by a predetermined opening ΔF than the ordinary set opening F corresponding to the load state or fully closed.

A radio receiver for diversity has a first receiving unit and a second receiving unit for diversity-receiving a signal of a radio frequency. The first receiving unit has a first mixer for converting the received signal of the radio frequency into an IF signal of a first intermediate frequency by an upper local method, and a first filter coupled to the output side of the first mixer. The second receiving unit has a second mixer for converting the received signal of the radio frequency into an IF signal of a second intermediate frequency by a lower local method, and a second filter coupled to the output side of the second mixer. The radio receiver can improve receiving sensitivity.

A semiconductor device having an IGBT includes: a substrate; a drift layer and a base layer on the substrate; trenches penetrating the base layer to divide the base layer into base parts; an emitter region in one base part; a gate element in the trenches; an emitter electrode; and a collector electrode. The one base part provides a channel layer, and another base part provides a float layer having no emitter region. The gate element includes a gate electrode next to the channel layer and a dummy gate electrode next to the float layer. The float layer includes a first float layer adjacent to the channel layer and a second float layer apart from the channel layer. The dummy gate electrode and the first float layer are coupled with a first float wiring on the base layer. The dummy gate electrode is isolated from the second float layer.

A spacer arranged inside a water jacket which is formed to surround peripheries of cylinder bores in a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine includes support legs extending in an up-and-down direction from a spacer main body part which partitions the water jacket into an upper and lower cooling water passages. The support legs are disposed in opposite end portions in a cylinder row line direction, where the temperatures of the cylinder bores tend to be lower. Accordingly, even if the flow of cooling water is more or less inhibited by the support legs and the cooling effect deteriorates, it is possible to prevent the temperatures of the respective cylinder bores from becoming different by suppressing the influence to a minimum.

A fuel damper fixing clip includes a clip main body formed from a sheet member having a plurality of flat portions, and formed in a generally square cylindrical shape. The clip main body surrounds portions of the outer peripheries of a cup portion and a fuel damper and deforms in a tightening direction. The clip main body includes two ends overlapped on an outside and an inside surface thereof. Slits are disposed in the plurality of flat portions of the clip main body, and the collar portions of the cup portion and the fuel damper are disposed therein and locked in a diameter-reduced state of the clip main body in which the clip main body is tightened. A receiving hole is formed in one of the ends of the clip main body. A claw portion is disposed on the other end of the clip main body obliquely projecting in a direction opposite to the tightening direction. The claw portion is disposed in the receiving hole in the diameter-reduced state in which the clip main body is tightened, and locks the clip main body in the diameter-reduced state in which the collar portions are fixed.
