    摘要: The present invention provides a high-capacity sealed nickel-metal hydride storage battery superior in high-current discharge, without extending the injection time of an electrolyte. This battery includes an electrode group, a metal case for accommodating the electrode group, and a seal plate provided with a safety vent, for sealing an opening of the case, and the electrode group has a structure in which, round a non-sintered type cylindrical electrode of one polarity, a non-sintered type hollow cylindrical electrode of the other polarity and a non-sintered type hollow cylindrical electrode of the one polarity are layered alternately in the form of concentric circles with a separator between the electrodes.

    摘要: Provided is an optical pickup device capable of ensuring the compatibility among three types of optical discs, i.e., BDs, DVDs, and CDs, with a common objective lens and, in addition, capable of ensuring a sufficient working distance for CDs, and also provided are an optical information recording and reproducing device and an objective lens suitable for the optical information recording and reproducing device. On the objective lens, there is arranged a first optical path difference providing structure formed such that: the direction of step differences of a basic structure wherein the diffraction order of a blue-violet laser light flux become an odd order faces toward the opposite direction of the optical axis; the direction of step differences of a basic structure wherein the diffraction order of the blue-violet laser light flux become an even order faces toward the optical axis; and both the basic structures are overlapped together.

    摘要: An objective lens unit, includes: an objective lens for irradiating and converging laser light on an optical disc as an a light information recording medium; and a lens frame for retaining the objective lens, wherein the lens frame is structured so that at least a portion closer to a rotation center of the optical disc is offset to an inner side of the lens frame with regards to a virtual edge section closer to the rotation center of the optical disc, wherein the virtual edge section is in a nodal line of a virtual plane that includes an end face which is closest to the optical disc in the lens frame and the objective lens, and that is perpendicular to an optical axis and a virtual rotation curved surface that is obtained when a virtual straight line passing a portion which is farthest from the optical axis in the lens frame and the objective lens, in parallel with the optical axis, is rotated around the optical axis as a center axis.
