    摘要: Provided are a beacon signal generating apparatus and a phase synchronizing apparatus using the same for establishing a phase synchronization while tracking a phase variation of a Timing Source Oscillator (TSO) of a satellite using a simpler scheme at an earth station, in making a phase synchronization between a clock signal of an On board Switch (OBS) embedded in the satellite and that of the earth station in a Satellite Switched Time Division Multiple Access (SS-TDMA) satellite communication system. The inventive beacon signal generating apparatus embedded in a satellite comprises a frequency oscillator for creating a TSO frequency, a beacon signal generator for multiplying the TSO frequency to be matched with a beacon signal frequency to generate a beacon signal synchronized with the TSO frequency, and a transmitter for transmitting the beacon signal to each of earth stations to recovery a frequency synchronized with the TSO frequency.

    摘要: A high power amplifier operating point determination apparatus and method determines an operating point of a high power amplifier for satellite communications system. For the purpose, the apparatus employs a DC voltage converting block in a channel amplifier located at a front-end of the high power amplifier, which couples an output power of the channel amplifier and converts the coupled output power to a DC voltage. Accordingly, in a ground monitoring center, before satellite launching, there are mapped the output power value of the high power amplifier and the DC voltage level of the channel amplifier per each command step assigned to an FGM or an ALC mode. After the satellite launching, it is possible to detect the operating point and the output power level of the high power amplifier based on mapped results by using the DC voltage level as telemetry information.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a lowpass filter for effectively suppress a spurious in stop-band. The lowpass filter includes an input port microstrip element; an output port microstrip element; a first open-ended microstrip element; a second open-ended microstrip element; a first connector microstrip element; and, a second connector microstrip element. The each open-ended microstrips of the present invention is composed of distributed elements and distributed resistances connected each others in series and operated as a capacity, has a large impedance of the microstrip by low influence of a resistance in case of a low frequency, and has a small impedance of the microstrip by high influence of a resistance value in case of a high frequency. The present invention can effectively suppress the spurious characteristic, which is a disadvantage of the conventional lowpass filter composed of transmission lines at the RF band or the microwave band, by inserting resistance elements in open-ended microstrips.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a satellite tracking apparatus and control method for performing attitude control of a vehicle-mounted antenna for receiving a satellite broadcasting and operating the antenna. The present invention employs a hybrid tracking method that performs tracking using an electronic beam in an elevation direction while performing mechanical tracking in an azimuth direction. The electronic tracking is employed in controlling the azimuth direction to compensate for a tracking error in the azimuth direction. While the tracking performance of the present invention is similar to that of the full-electronic antenna, the present invention achieves better beam efficiency by arranging radiating elements to be effective in front of the antenna, thereby realizing a high gain antenna.
