The method includes determining a context for an enhancement-layer element based, at least in part, upon elements in the corresponding reconstructed block of reference-layer transform domain data, wherein the elements are identified by a template and wherein the position of the template in the reference-layer reconstructed block is based upon the position of that enhancement-layer element in the block of enhancement-layer transform domain data.

摘要： A system and method for resilient signal encoding provide for encoding a data signal to reduce bandwidth required to transmit the encoded signal while mitigating the impact of frames lost or corrupted during transmission. A first frame of the data signal is encoded as an independently decodable frame and is assigned as a reference frame. Subsequent frames of the data signal are encoded as different frames relative to the reference frame. The independently decodable frame and the difference frames are transmitted to a receiver. The receiver decodes the frames and sends an acknowledgement for one or more successfully decoded difference frames. When an acknowledgment is received, a corresponding data signal frame is assigned as the reference frame. Subsequent difference frames are encoded relative to the newly assigned reference frame.

Normal updates to the distribution list can be performed via update commands from an authorized address that is stored in association with the distribution list as authorized to update the distribution list. When a removal command is received from a specific recipient address, which is not authorized to update the distribution list, the specific address can be removed from the distribution list. When an addition command is received from the specific address, a new address can be added to the distribution list. Before sending an outbound electronic message, the distribution list is resolved to the current set of recipient addresses.

A display device has viewports emitting expanded views of an image, an image receiving area receives the image, and optical conduits with exit pupil expanders expand the image through the viewports. A separate tracking projector has an image projector that projects an image along an axis, a marker search illuminator that projects light into a space including the axis, and an image capture component that captures target images that including at least three reflective marker images associated with the image receiving area. An image processor determines, based the marker images, a distance and an orientation of the image receiving area. A projection controller adjusts image data based upon the distance and the orientation to cause projected images to arrive squarely at the image receiving area.
