摘要： A far-UVC device for eliminating airborne pathogens includes a plenum, a fan, an LED array, and a filter. Air enters through an inlet and passes through the plenum until it exits out the outlet. The filter is located within the plenum adjacent to either the outlet or the inlet. The LED array emits a UV light on the passing air to inactivate airborne pathogens. The fan regulates the flow rate of the air through the plenum. The fan maintains a positive flow of air through the device and eventually exhausts the disinfected air out the outlet. One or more baffles are located within the plenum to direct the air flow through the device.

摘要： The apparatus is a portable three-in-one food griller, food smoker and fire pit in which the sidewalls can nest into a compact self-contained unit for easy transportation. In one variation, there are five rectangles with four walls that encompass a void that can be configured and stacked for use as a grill, a smoker or a fire pit. The bottom rectangle can contain an adjustable air inlet door and a grate for holding a fire source. The top rectangle can contain an adjustable air outlet door in the ceiling with a thermometer. The second, third and forth rectangles can contain various configurations of grates for grilling food, smoking food or use as a fire pit. After use, rectangles two through five can fit and nest into the first rectangle (the base) and be latched to the floor section forming a self-enclosed compact and transportable rectangle box with a carrying handle.

摘要： A device for determining the composition of a mixture of fluids by spectral absorption, comprises: a radiation source; a detector for detecting radiation that has been attenuated by the mixture; and a device for separating the radiation into a wavelength band corresponding to an absorption band of one of the fluids, a wavelength band corresponding to an absorption band of another of the fluids, and at least one reference wavelength band substantially adjacent to each of the absorption bands, and especially adjacent to each side of the absorption band or group of absorption bands. The device may be used to determine the composition of mixtures of oil, water and gaseous hydrocarbons in oil wells where there is a very large degree of time varying scattering e.g. Rayleigh and Mie scattering due to turbulence.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for reducing condensed humidifying agent in a humidification system by pulsing a delivery of humidifying agent into a respiratory circuit. During a non-pulsed interval, gas flowing through the respiratory circuit will evaporate the condensed humidifying agent present in the respiratory circuit. The present invention also provides a method and apparatus for delivering humidified gas to a patient, wherein the delivery avoids the problems associated with a stationary water humidifier. In the method, the delivery of humidifying agent is precisely controlled to deliver a flow of humidifying agent to a volume of gas.
