Abstract:
The CareMed, National Walk-In Medical Clinical Locator provide consumers global access to healthcare provider services regardless of their affiliation or membership to any one caregivers network. A single point of intelligent access removes the need for consumers to submit generic searches or make arbitrary decisions with little if any basis in fact. Additionally, it avoids the need for consumers to register or enroll in any one specific provider care network. The weighted list of provider recommendations utilizes a wide range of propriety decision-based variables to recommend services to the benefit of the consumer and facilitate inter-provider competitiveness thereby increasing the availability of care providers.
Abstract:
A wellhead securement arrangement releasably clamps casing strings such that they cannot move in an upwards or downwards longitudinal direction. Prior to being clamped, the securement arrangement secures the casing strings in a first position whereby cement returns are able to flow around the hangers towards the surface. Once cemented, the casing strings are released and moved upwardly, where the securement arrangement clamps the hangers into position, thus creating an axial load on the casing strings while also preventing movement in the upward and downward longitudinal directions.
Abstract:
A gas turbine engine includes a compressor having first annular connection structure at a forward end portion of an air inlet housing of the compressor. The gas turbine engine may also include intake ducting having second annular connection structure adjacent a central passage of the intake ducting. The first annular connection structure and the second annular connection structure may form at least part of an interface between the air inlet housing and the intake ducting during operation of the gas turbine engine. The first and second annular connection structures may have shapes allowing the first annular connection structure to be moved through and beyond the second annular connection structure in a forward direction, the forward direction being opposite a direction of compressed air flow in the compressor during operation.
Abstract:
A power system includes a gas turbine engine, which may include a gear box. The gear box may include a pipe connection configured to receive a removable pipe. The power system may also include a moveable support configured to fasten to the pipe connection to at least partially support the gear box.
Abstract:
A device for use in monitoring operation of a plurality of system assets includes a storage device configured to store a model of a plurality of system assets and a processor coupled to the storage device. The processor is configured to receive data representative of a status of the system assets, and display, in a first display state, a plurality of asset images representative of the system assets using the model. The processor is also configured to display, in a second display state, a first asset image of the asset images within the display upon a determination that the system asset represented by first asset image is in an alarm state, and display, in a third display state, the remaining asset images within the display upon a determination that the system assets represented by the remaining asset images are not in an alarm state.
Abstract:
A device for use in monitoring operation of a plurality of system assets includes a storage device configured to store a model of a plurality of system assets and a processor coupled to the storage device. The model includes a plurality of asset images associated with the plurality of system assets. The processor is configured to display the plurality of asset images, select a first asset image of the plurality of asset images, receive an input representative of a first point in time and an input representative of a second point in time, and display a context of a first system asset associated with the first asset image between the first point in time and the second point in time. The context of the first system asset includes an asset image representative of the first system asset and asset measurement data representative of a measured operating condition of the first system asset.
Abstract:
A modular cart for a gas turbine engine is disclosed. The modular cart may have a first cart with a first connection portion and a first mounting location. The modular cart may further have a second cart with a second connection portion and a second mounting location. The first connection portion of the first cart may be configured to attach to the second connection portion of the second cart. The modular cart may also have a cart component configured to interchangeably mount to either the first mounting location of the first cart or to the second mounting location of the second cart.
Abstract:
A wireless local area network (WLAN) includes a plurality of wireless access points (APs) which provide communications for a plurality of mobile communication devices. One of the APs is designated as a provisioning AP and is set to have a substantially smaller RF coverage area than RF coverage areas of the other APs. A mobile device is positioned within the provisioning RF coverage region and associates with the provisioning AP with use of a provisioning service set identifier, for establishing layer-2 communications with the WLAN, and for accessing and operating in a provisioning virtual local area network (VLAN) of the WLAN. While the mobile device is associated with the provisioning AP and operating in the provisioning VLAN, the mobile device receives via the provisioning AP an IP address which is assigned to the mobile device, for establishing layer-3 communications with the WLAN. After the layer-3 communications are established, the mobile device participates in an authentication procedure via the provisioning AP with a provisioning server of the provisioning VLAN. After positive authentication of the mobile device using the authentication procedure, the mobile device participates in a provisioning procedure with the provisioning server via the provisioning AP, for receiving provisioning information from the WLAN for programming in the mobile device.
