Abstract:
A method for operating an internal combustion engine, in which fuel is injected into a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine with the aid of an injector, a variable which characterizes a slope of a straight line or of a curve which has at least some sections in the shape of a straight line, being ascertained, the straight line or straight line-shaped curve linking activation times of the injector to the appropriate difference values, and a difference value being formed by the difference between an instantaneous closing point in time and a reference closing point in time or between an instantaneous injection quantity and a reference injection quantity, and a measure for a coking of the injector being ascertained from the ascertained variable.
Abstract:
A side impact beam for incorporation into the structure of a motor vehicle comprises a sheet metal profile with flaring end portions and two longitudinal beads extending along the sheet metal profile and wherein the end portions that are provided with cross beads that are stamped in an additional tooling step during manufacturing and after the longitudinal beads have been formed, and are arranged in transverse disposition to the longitudinal beads and wherein the longitudinal beads and the cross beads are oriented in the same direction and the length of one cross bead corresponds approximately to the width of the two longitudinal beads, such that the so configured cross beads provide a stabilizing effect of the end portions and ensure the flattening of the connecting surfaces, thereby leading to a reduction of assembly problems.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to a method for controlling a wind energy plant, with a nacelle disposed on a tower and with a rotor with at least one rotor blade, the blade adjustment angle of which can be adjusted by means of a blade adjustment equipment. The objective to provide a reduction of the loads acting on the plant when there is a malfunction of the blade adjustment equipment is resolved according to the present invention in that the function of the blade adjustment equipment is monitored, and when an error of the blade adjustment equipment occurs, the nacelle is rotated from an operating position into a rest position, in which there is a flow of the wind against the surface extended by the at least one rotor blade (4) in a rotation of the rotor which is reduced with respect to the operating position.
Abstract:
The invention is related to a method for rotating a component of a wind energy plant by traversing an adjustment device, wherein the adjustment device comprises at least two adjustment drives, each one thereof having at least one electric motor, for traversing the adjustment device, and wherein during the traversing of the adjustment device, the electric motor of at least one of the at least two adjustment drives is operated at another rotational speed than the electric motor of at least one other of the at least two adjustment drives. Furthermore, the invention is related to a corresponding device.
Abstract:
A wind energy plant having at least one rotor blade with a pitch angle, the pitch angle being adjustable by means of a pitch controller, and a generator converter unit, at least one electrical quantity of the generator converter unit being adjustable by means of a converter controller, wherein the wind energy plant has a power train with a rotor having the at least one rotor blade, the rotor being disposed at a front end of the power train and the power train leading to the generator converter unit, wherein a first rotation speed detection unit is provided at the power train near the front end of the power train and a second rotation speed detection unit is provided at the power train near the generator converter unit, wherein the measured rotation speed nrot of the first rotation speed detection unit is applied as an input variable to the pitch controller and the measured rotation speed of the second rotation speed detection unit is applied as an input variable to the converter controller.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing an injection valve for liquids, preferably an injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. The injection valve has a valve body, with a valve seat which is formed therein, and a valve needle which interacts with the valve seat in order to open and close at least one injection opening. The injection valve is produced by means of the following method steps: producing the valve body from steel, hardening the valve body, annealing a partial region of the valve body at an annealing temperature. The device for carrying out the method according to the invention has an inductive annealing generator which generates a suitable alternating current for operating a coil, in the magnetic field of which coil the valve body can be heated for annealing.
