摘要: A heat exchanger is disclosed, which comprises a plurality of heat-transfer elements (1) placed side by side each of which has more than one through-hole (3) and which are cyclically bent in a generally trapezoidal waveform in the direction of the flow of a fluid, the bends in one heat-transfer element (1) being out of phase with those in an adjacent heat-transfer element (1) by one-half cycle in such a manner that the main stream of said fluid will flow not through the holes in each of said heat-transfer elements (1) but through the passage formed by adjacent heat-transfer elements (1). This arrangement serves to provide improved heat-transfer characteristics.

摘要: A multiroom air conditioner has a plurality of indoor heat exchangers connected to a single outdoor heat exchanger. A reversible expansion valve is installed on a liquid-side branch pipe for each of the indoor heat exchangers, and a solenoid valve is installed on a gas-side branch pipe for each indoor heat exchanger. Temperature sensors are provided on the liquid-side branch pipes, on the gas-side branch pipes, and on the outlet side during cooling of the outdoor heat exchanger. A pressure sensor or a temperature sensor detects the saturation temperature on the high-pressure side of the compressor. Based on the saturation temperature on the high-pressure side of the compressor, the temperature on the outlet side during cooling of the outdoor heat exchanger, and the temperatures in the liquidside branch pipes, a controller controls the expansion valves so as to obtain a target degree of subcooling during cooling and heating. The controller can also control the expansion valves so that the temperatures in each of the branch pipes are approximately equal to one another.

摘要: A plate-fin-tube type heat exchanger is constructed with a multitude of plate fins juxtaposed one another and a plurality of heat transmitting tubes passing through said plate fins and being held thereby. A plurality of cut and raised pieces are formed to intersect orthogonally with the air flowing direction at both front and rear surfaces of said plate fins with a certain space interval among them in the air flowing direction and at a location between the adjacent heat transmitting tubes arranged in the longitudinal direction of said plate fins, and then the edge portion on both sides of each cut and raised piece is re-bent in the direction opposite to the lifting direction of said piece and in substantially parallel with the surface of said plate fin so that the cross-section of said cut and raised piece may assume a sloping form in the direction of the air flow and that fin base plate portion may be present between the adjacent cut and raised pieces in parallel with the air flow.

摘要: The controller circuit is designed to generate the positioning control signal based on the positional deviation of the head from a target recording track on a recording medium. A feedback control is effected to position the head right on a trajectory corresponding to the target recording track based on the generated positioning control signal. The positioning control signal is subjected to filtering at a notch filter. The cutoff frequency of the notch filter is set depending on the temperature detected at a thermal sensor. Even when the resonant frequency shifts in response to variation in temperature, the cutoff frequency of the notch filter follows the shift of the resonant frequency. A narrower bandwidth of the cutoff frequency still achieves reduction in the amplitude of the frequency component corresponding to the resonant frequency. The resonance or continuous vibration can reliably be prevented in the head. A rapid response can be accomplished in positioning the head right on a trajectory corresponding to the target recording track because of a narrower bandwidth of the cutoff frequency.

摘要: A method and apparatus measures thermal conductivity of a material effected by measuring a change in the temperature of the material in contact with a heat source maintained at a predetermined temperature. A temperature change characteristic is obtained from the result of the temperature measurement, and the thermal conductivity is obtained by comparison of the temperature change characteristic and unsteady heat transfer characteristics of solid bodies previously determined in consideration of the heat transfer resistance of the interfaces. The present invention is suitable for the measurement of extensive materials, metallic materials to heat insulating materials, specifically suitable for the measurement of materials of high thermal conductivity and heterogeneous or anisotropic and is capable of accurately measuring the thermal conductivity without any special consideration on the interface heat transfer resistance at the measurement stage.
