摘要: In one aspect, a remotely resettable blast damper for use with an air duct or wall opening is provided. The blast damper includes a blade configured to be mounted at a duct and movable between an open position and a closed position where the blade is configured to move to the closed position responsive to a blast wave. The blast damper includes a retention mechanism configured to maintain the blade in the closed position when the blade moves to the closed position. The blast damper further includes a release mechanism remote from the retention mechanism and operably coupled to the retention mechanism. Actuation of the release mechanism of the blast damper disengages the retention mechanism enabling the blade to return to the open position.

The vent includes one or more louvers configured to change position between an open position and a closed position to permit air from the air duct to enter a zone of the building or stop the air from entering the zone and a vent circuit configured to operate the one or more louvers based on one or more control commands. The system includes a controller device including a processing circuit configured to receive a selection of an operating profile from a plurality of predefined operating profiles for the vent, each of the plurality of predefined operating profiles indicating an intended use of the zone, determine, based on the operating profile, the one or more control commands, and cause the vent circuit to operate the one or more louvers based on the one or more control commands.

摘要: A heat exchanger for exchanging heat between first and second duct portions of a ventilation system includes first and second heat pipe portions in the first and second duct portions, respectively. Each heat pipe portion can be a heat pipe subassembly including one or more vertical heat pipes fluidly coupled to top and bottom headers, which are respectively connected to the top and bottom headers of the other subassembly to form a refrigerant loop. One or more flow restrictors can block air flow through a respective section of the first or second duct portion. The blocked section can be operatively aligned with a segment of the respective heat pipe portion along which there is a low probability of refrigerant phase change. Each flow restrictor can be an adjustable damper. The damper(s) can be selectively opened and closed as the ventilation system switches between heating and cooling modes.

摘要: Pallet racking systems are designed to quickly freeze items using thermal transfer by moving air through palletized products. Air is pulled through the palletized product to a negative air plenum behind the pallet rack. Back panels of the pallet racks provide variable-height airflow by use of louvers which are individually pressed open by the palletized product to accommodate differing product heights. The panels allow more efficient system operation with any number of rack positions filled.
