An apparatus for correcting a color error, including: a color error detection unit for detecting the presence or absence of a color error in an edge region of an input video, based on a relation between difference values between interlaced horizontal lines and difference values between non-interlaced horizontal lines of chrominance and luminance signals, respectively; a correction unit for correcting the color error by performing chroma filtering on the chrominance signals of the input video, if the color edge is present in the edge region; and a control unit for controlling the chrominance signals to be outputted after being corrected if the color error is present in the edge region, and for controlling the input chrominance signals to be outputted as they are if the color error is not present in the edge region.

A field sequential display apparatus and an image display method thereof are provided. A field sequential display apparatus includes: a color-coordinate conversion unit which analyses image state information of a plurality of input image signals of primary colors representing one image and converts the input image signals of primary colors into image signals of primary colors and at least one image signal of specific colors by using the image state information; a display panel displaying the converted image signals; and a light source driving unit which sequentially drives light sources corresponding to colors of the converted image signals. Accordingly, color breakup can be prevented, and image quality can be improved.

The timing controller outputs image data and a data clock having a pair of differential signals. The noise removing part is connected to a pair of output terminals for outputting the pair of differential signals. The noise removing part removes common-mode noise included in the pair of differential signals. The data driving part generates an image data signal using the image data and the data clock, and outputs the image data signal to a data line on a display panel. The gate driving part generates a gate signal, and outputs the gate signal to a gate line on the display panel.
