摘要: An optical pickup apparatus comprises a photo detector that receives light reflected from a medium; and a housing that is mounted with the photo detector. The photo detector is fixed to the housing with the use of an adhesive to mount the photo detector on the housing. The housing is provided with a displacement preventer that prevents displacement of the photo detector or the adhesive relative to the housing. The displacement preventer has fixing portions that extend along a plurality of directions. The photo detector is mounted on the housing by applying the adhesive to the displacement preventer.

摘要: A semiconductor device manufacturing method includes forming circuit devices and a plurality of electrode pads within a semiconductor chip formation region. The method also includes forming, on the main surface of the semiconductor wafer, an insulating film which exposes a portion of each of the electrode pads. The method also includes forming a conducting film covering the electrode pads, on the insulating film, and forming a wiring layer on the conducting film. The method also includes forming a negative resist layer in the semiconductor chip formation region and a peripheral region. The method also includes covering protruding electrode formation regions in the semiconductor chip formation region and covering electrode portion formation regions in the peripheral region, and performing optical exposure of the negative resist layer. The method also includes forming aperture portions in the protruding electrode formation regions and a plurality of electrode portions. The aperture portions expose a portion of the wiring layer. The electrode portions are formed by exposing the conducting film. The method also includes performing plating using the resist layer as a mask to form protruding electrodes.

摘要: This invention provides an L-&agr;-glycerophosphate oxidase (GPO) having excellent properties such as stability, heat resistance and reactivity. A recombinant GPO obtained by replacing an amino acid of a specified position of an amino acid sequence deduced from the Enterococcus faecium No. 7044 GPO gene or DNA coding for the GPO with other amino acid has excellent thermal stability and reactivity. That is, the invention provides modified forms of the GPO having the amino acid sequence of Sequence No. 1 in the Sequence Listing, in which the 130-position leucine counting from the N-terminus of the GPO is replaced by other amino acid and/or the 225-position serine counting from the N-terminus of the GPO is replaced by other amino acid and/or the 298-position threonine counting from the N-terminus of the GPO is replaced by other amino acid and/or the 420-position aspartic acid counting from the N-terminus of the GPO is replaced by other amino acid.

摘要: A fuel assembly is provided with a coolant ascending path for making coolant rise and a water rod having a coolant descending path for conducting the coolant.A ratio of a flow area in a coolant inlet port of the smallest in coolant ascending path 13 on the downstream side than large diameter tube portion 3E to a flow area of the largest in the axial direction of coolant ascending path 13 in large diameter tube portion 3E is set to be 0.2-20%.In the normal operation, the declination degree from the liquid level in the coolant ascending path, corresponding to the coolant flow rate of the liquid level formed in the coolant ascending path can be controlled. Further, at the time of the excess the change speed of the liquid level can also be controlled.

摘要: In a film type battery comprising a generating element which is formed by laminating a negative active material, an electrolyte and a positive active material into a layer shape, (1, 2, 3), terminal plates (5, 6) which are installed on and under the generating element and serve also as a current collector and a container, and a frame-shaped sealing material (4) which is installed on peripheral edges of the terminal plates, seals the generating element in between the both terminal plates and insulates one terminal plate from the other; the sealing material is improved. For example, the sealing material is formed into a vertical-type multi-layer structure, in which at least one layer is composed of a layer (41, 42) comprising metal and the other layer (43) is composed of an electric insulator. Thereby, a mechanical strength of the sealing material or a battery becomes large and the battery becomes hard to be bent. Accordingly, an ingress of atmosphere from a sealing portion and a leakage of electrolyte therefrom can be prevented, a deterioration of battery performance can be prevented, and a long-term reliability can be improved.
