摘要: To provide an arrangement structure of a sound system in a motorcycle which can ensure the operability of a sound operation unit while ensuring the visibility of a meter. In a motorcycle which arranges a meter indicating information on a vehicle and a sound operation unit for providing a reproduction operation or the like in a sound system in the vicinity of a steering portion, the meter and the sound operation unit are constituted as bodies separate from each other. The meter and the sound operation unit are arranged, as viewed in the axial direction of a head pipe which supports a steering portion, in front of and behind the head pipe.

摘要: A method of determining the presence or the absence of a glaucoma risk, including the steps of detecting in vitro an allele and/or a genotype of a single nucleotide polymorphism which is located on a 31st base of a base sequence, in a sample from a subject, wherein the base sequence is at least one base sequence selected from the group consisting of base sequences shown in SEQ ID NOs: 203 to 752 or a complementary sequence thereto (step A), and comparing the allele and/or the genotype detected in the step A with at least one of an allele and/or a genotype, containing a high-risk allele, in the base sequences shown in SEQ ID NOs: 203 to 752 (step B). According to the method of the present invention, the level of a progressive risk of glaucoma in a sample donor can be determined by analyzing an allele or a genotype of a single nucleotide polymorphism in the present invention in the sample, so that the sample donor can take a preventive measure of glaucoma, or can receive appropriate treatments, on the basis of this risk.

摘要: To simplify the switching between an automatic shift mode and a manual shift mode in a CVT. A selector switch is included in a switch unit provided on a handle bar at a position near a right grip and a shift switch is included in a switch unit provided on the handle bar at a position near a left grip. When the manual shift mode is selected, the shift switch functions as a shift control switch, whereas when the automatic shift mode is selected by the selector switch, mode selection for selecting any one of a first drive mode and a second drive mode, for example, can be made by the shift switch.

摘要: A motorcycle includes a body frame having at least a pair of right and left or front and rear frame members with a storage box that is open upward between the pairing frame members. A riding seat covers the opening end of the storage box from above. The storage box includes a box main body arranged between the pair of frame members with a box constituent member that is detachably mounted below the box main body so as to form an electronic component storage chamber in cooperation with the box main body that composes a part of the wall portion of the storage box. The box constituent member is overlapped with at least a part of the frame members of a pair of frame members viewed in a plane with the box constituent member mounted to the box main body. The box constituent member bulges from the box main body.

摘要: A neutral titanium dioxide colloid sol having a high stability in a neutral range and capable of forming a colorless transparent coating even when dried at room temperature is produced by mixing an acid titanium dioxide sol comprising 50 to 100 parts by weight of titanium dioxide colloidal particles and 5 to 50 parts by weight of a chelating agent for titanium ions with 1 to 50 parts by weight of an alkaline substance comprising at least one of alkali metal compounds and amine compounds, and optionally by adjusting the pH value of the liquid mixture to 5 to 10, or adjusting the pH value of the liquid mixture to 6 to 10, and then applying a deionization treatment to the mixture to thereby charge the titanium dioxide colloidal particles with negative electricity.

摘要: A composite plated metal material having a composite coating layer with excellent adhesion and mechanical properties is produced by (1) displace deposition-plating a metal I base material with a metal II having a nobler oxidation-eduction potential than that of metal I and (2) dope-modifying the resultant metal II coating layer with a metal III-containing deposit in which metal III is different from metal II and exhibits a nobler oxidation-reduction potential than that of metal I, by using a displace deposition-plating aqueous solution containing metal III-containing compound ions.
