摘要： A flat portion 12a and a slope portion 12b are provided on a thread 12 of a multi-pitch screw 10 alternately. The flat portion and the slope portion are provided on the thread of a multi-pitch nut which fastens with this. Consequently, a screw and a nut capable of preventing loosening securely by step are achieved. This enables comfortable and quick feeding and when a torque from a driving source is interrupted, step-like self-lock is activated.

摘要： A web processing apparatus has a cutting mechanism for cutting elongate webs of different widths from a raw web, a core rotating mechanism for selectively holding cores having different diameters and different axial lengths and rotating a selected one of the cores in opposite directions, a winding mechanism for supporting one of the elongate webs on an outer circumferential surface of the core to wind the elongate web in different winding directions when the core is rotated, and a cutting mechanism for cutting an end of the elongate web to produce a roll after the elongate web is wound around the core.

摘要： The present invention provides an information processing apparatus, method and program capable of preventing the execution of a process, which a user does not intend to perform, when the position and size of each operation button image displayed on a screen are changed in accordance with a change in the aspect ratio of images. An aspect-ratio monitoring unit 51 monitors a change in the aspect ratio of moving images to be played back. A screen display control unit 52 controls a method for displaying moving images displayed on a display on the basis of the determined aspect ratio. A button display control unit 53 changes the size of each operation button to be displayed superimposed on the images displayed in the display. A sensitive area setting unit 54-sets an area (sensitive area) of a touch panel. An operation determining unit 55 determines which operation button is operated by the user. A command generating unit 56 generates a command signal corresponding to the determination by the operation determining unit 55 and outputs the signal to at least one appropriate part. The present invention can be applied to, e.g., camcorders.

摘要： The present invention is capable of preventing the execution of a process, which a user does not intend to perform, when the position and size of each operation button image displayed on a screen are changed in accordance with a change in the aspect ratio of images. An aspect-ratio monitoring unit 51 monitors a change in the aspect ratio of moving images to be played back. A screen display control unit 52 controls a method for displaying moving images displayed on a display on the basis of the determined aspect ratio. A button display control unit 53 changes the size of each operation button to be displayed superimposed on the images displayed in the display. A sensitive area setting unit 54 sets an area (sensitive area) of a touch panel. An operation determining unit 55 determines which operation button is operated by the user. A command generating unit 56 generates a command signal corresponding to the determination by the operation determining unit 55 and outputs the signal to at least one appropriate part. The present invention can be applied to, e.g., camcorders.

The controller controls the display in such a manner as to display marks corresponding in number to the stored start and end points. The controller also controls the display so that the marks corresponding to the stored start and end points are displayed in a color different from the color of the marks corresponding to the start and end points not yet stored, and so that the marks corresponding to the start and end points already reproduced are displayed in a color different from the color of the marks corresponding to the start and end points not yet reproduced.
