The medium comprises a substrate having a concentric circular guide groove. This guide grove has land portions and groves portions. At least a phase change type recording layer is formed on the substrate. The recording layer has such a composition and thickness that a dislocation linear velocity V satisfies the relation V≧Vh×0.85.

Abstract:
It is an object to provide a power circuit in which a space for providing a circuit to protect the power circuit can be reduced when a short circuit is generated on the secondary side of the transformer of the power circuit, and the size of the circuit can be decreased. A first coil (L1), a second coil (L2) and a third coil (L3) are provided on the primary side of a transformer (25) disposed on a power circuit (35). Moreover, a plurality of coils corresponding to the coils on the primary side is provided on the secondary side of the transformer (25). Furthermore, the primary side of the power circuit (35) is provided with a power switching unit (1) for controlling the input of a power to the transformer (25), a first integrating circuit (31) for integrating the voltage of the second coil (L2) and a second integrating circuit (32) for integrating the voltage of the third coil, and abnormality detecting means (13) for detecting the abnormality of the state of a voltage between the second coil (L2) and the third coil (L3) based on the output of the first integrating circuit (31) and that of the second integrating circuit (32). When the abnormality detecting means (13) detects the abnormality of the state of the voltage, the power switching unit (1) is brought into a non-conduction state so that the input of the power to the transformer (25) is stopped.

Abstract:
A thin film of silicon is formed on an electrically insulating substrate, such as transparent quarts, by deposition, such as glow discharge or CVD method. The thin film of silicon thus formed normally does not have a monocrystalline structure, but, in this manner, the thin film of silicon can be formed on a relatively large surface area. The substrate having formed thereon the thin film is then placed on a support plate, preferably, of a silicon wafer, and, then, a blanket light irradiation is carried out by a plurality of tungsten halogen lamps. The light irradiated from the lamps is preferentially absorbed by the support plate of silicon wafer which is thus heated and then transfers heat to the thin film by conduction. Thus, the thin film is heated uniformly by heat conduction so that the thin film is heat treated, thereby obtaining a desired property. For example, the thin film is monocrystallized uniformly.

The invention provides a short-circuit protective circuit for a constant-voltage power-supply circuit. The constant-voltage power-supply circuit can realize a short-circuit protection with a simple circuit configuration in a power-supply circuit provided with a plurality of power-supply lines. A regulator is connected to one of a plurality of power-supply lines, and a constant voltage is outputted from an output terminal of the regulator through an output line. An output voltage from the regulator is inputted to constant-voltage circuits as a reference voltage, and output constant voltages from the constant-voltage circuits are supplied to the other output lines. A voltage detection circuit is connected to the other output lines, wherein if a voltage drop occurs in any output line, a detection signal is outputted to an operation circuit, thereby turning off an output control terminal of the regulator. Accordingly, the output of the regulator is stopped so that all of the output lines are stopped all at once. The invention is cost-efficient because the invention uses only one regulator to control multiple power-supply lines.
Abstract:
To provide electronic equipment equipped with a switching power circuit which oscillates intermittently when an apparatus is OFF, where the apparatus is prevented from failing to start up upon power-on due to intermittent oscillation. A microcomputer 110 judges state of intermittent oscillation based on an oscillation on/off signal received from an oscillation monitoring circuit 17 and indicating the state of intermittent oscillation and starts to supply power to a load 120 according the state of intermittent oscillation rather than in quick response to closure of a power switch 2a.

A method of manufacturing table salt effectively containing an efficient amount of the minerals from the sea water by using not fuel or electric energy but natural energy only. The method comprising the steps of infiltrating and flowing down the sea water from a hollow tower made of liquid permeable materials and producing primary salt water adding raw salt thereto to cause low solubility components to be separated and precipitated leaving residual salt water, and evaporating the moisture from said residual salt water at ambient temperature and humidity to produce table salt.
