摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an aqueous coating material composition that has excellent storage stability and that demonstrates high coating film performance and strong glass adhesiveness even when cured at a relatively low temperature. The present invention discloses an aqueous coating material composition including (A) a hydroxyl group- and carboxyl group-containing resin, (B) a blocked polyisocyanate compound, (C) a polycarbodiimide compound, and (D) a basic compound. The basic compound (D) includes (D1) a basic compound having an acid dissociation constant (PKa) in a range from 7.0 to 8.5 and a boiling point in a range from 100 to 200° C. A content ratio of the basic compound (D1) is in a range from 30 to 100 mass % based on the mass of the basic compound (D). The aqueous coating material composition has a pH in a range from 8.0 to 11.5.

摘要: An object is to provide an aqueous coating material composition having high viscosity expression property as well as a viscosity property of decreasing viscosity with increase in shear velocity; in particular, to provide an aqueous coating material composition that can form a multilayer coating film having excellent smoothness, clarity, flip-flop property, adhesion, and water resistance; in addition, to provide a method for forming a multilayer coating film using such aqueous coating material composition, as well as a coated article that has been coated with such aqueous coating material composition. As a solution, an aqueous coating material composition is provided that contains a polyester resin (A), acrylic resin particles (B), a curing agent (C), and a coloring pigment (D), wherein the polyester resin (A) is a resin containing a trifunctional or higher polyfunctional polycarboxylic acid (a1) and a polyol (a2) as monomer components.

摘要: To provide a paint composition capable of forming a coating film having a small graininess, having high flip-flop property, and having excellent chipping resistance and adhesion. According to the present invention, there is provided a paint composition including a hydroxy group-containing acrylic resin (A), a hydroxy group-containing polyester resin (B), an amino resin (C), and a titanium oxide-coated light interference pigment (D), which has an L*15 value of 100 or more and an L*110 value of 65 or less, wherein the solid content of the hydroxy group-containing acrylic resin (A) is in the range of 20 to 60 parts by mass, the solid content of the hydroxy group-containing polyester resin (B) is in the range of 10 to 50 parts by mass, the solid content of the amino resin (C) is in the range of 5 to 40 parts by mass, and the solid content of the titanium oxide-coated light interference pigment (D) is in the range of 3 to 25 parts by mass, relative to 100 parts by mass of the total solid content of the hydroxy group-containing acrylic resin (A), the hydroxy group-containing polyester resin (B), and the amino resin (C).

摘要: The present invention relates to a solution to provide a conductive pigment paste that exhibits excellent pigment dispersibility and storage stability even as a paste with a high pigment concentration and/or high viscosity, and can be used to form a coating film excelling in conductivity and other properties. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a conductive pigment paste. The method includes dispersing a paste containing a pigment dispersion resin (A), a conductive pigment (B), and a solvent (C) using at least one type of disperser selected from the group consisting of a bead mill, a homogenizer, an ultrasonic disperser, a kneader, an extruder, and a planetary mixer. The pigment dispersion resin (A) includes at least one polar functional group selected from the group consisting of an amide group, an imide group, an ether group, a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, a sulfonate group, a phosphate group, a silanol group, and an amino group, and the concentration of the polar functional group in the pigment dispersion resin (A) is from 9 to 23 mmol/g. The conductive pigment (B) contains carbon nanotubes (B-1) and/or a conductive carbon (B-2) having an average primary particle size from 10 to 80 nm. A solubility parameter δA of the pigment dispersion resin (A) and a solubility parameter δC of the solvent (C) satisfy a relationship of |δA−δC|

摘要: Provided is a method for forming a multilayer coating film that is capable of forming a multilayer coating film that has pearly luster with excellent blackness and high reflectance of an infrared laser. The method for forming a multilayer coating film includes applying a carbon black pigment-containing first colored paint (X) to form a first colored coating film; applying a second colored paint (Y) containing a pigment (A) that is a transparent or translucent base material coated with a metal oxide to form a second colored coating film; applying a clear paint (Z) to form a clear coating film; and heating the first colored coating film, the second colored coating film, and the clear coating film separately or simultaneously to cure these films, wherein the first colored coating film has a lightness L*(45°) of less than 20, the multilayer coating film has a lightness L*(45°) of less than 20, and the multilayer coating film has a diffuse reflectance of 10% or more at a wavelength of 905 nm.
