Abstract:
A rod-shaped vehicle antenna according to the present invention, includes a rod-shaped antenna element having small- and large-diameter portions arranged alternately at regular pitches along the longitudinal direction of a rod-shaped conductor. When the outside diameter of each of the small-diameter portions is D1, that of each of the large-diameter portions is D2, and the pitch (length of each of the small- and large-diameter portions) is P, P is set within the following range:(D2.times.6).ltoreq.P.ltoreq.(D2.times.7). The ratioof D1 to D2, that is, D1/D2 is set within the following range:0.7.ltoreq.(D1/D2).ltoreq.0.85.
Abstract:
In a slide fastener slider, an attachment lug stands from a slider body and has a pair of support projections facing each other, defining a recess for receiving a pintle of a pull tab. The lug additionally has opposite reinforcing projections situated outside the respective support projections. For assembly, the support projections are bent toward the recess by pressing, and at the same time, the reinforcing projections are bent against the associated support projections to seal and hold the pintle of the pull tab. As the pintle of the pull tab is thus attached to the attachment lug reliably, the lug is adequately durable against any movement of the pull tab.
Abstract:
A screw type coupling device includidng a male screw element formed by installing a coil spring form helical component on the outer surface of a columnar element and a female screw element formed by installing a coil spring form helical component in a tubular element so that the two helical components are screw engaged with each other. With the application of such coupling device to an antenna for vehicles, the antenna having the male screw element at the base is removably attached to a vehicle body by screwing the male screw element of the antenna to the female screw element installed in the vehicle body.
Abstract:
A multistage extensible rod antenna system including a plurality of conductive rods which have different diameters, respectively, and are connected in a freely slidable manner to each other. Each of the conductive rods is provided, along its inner circumferential wall of the upper end portion, with first and second stepped portions of different diameters. The first and second stepped portions hold a first collar and a second collar, respectively with an elastic sealing ring therebetween. The upper end face of each of the rods is formed into an engaging portion to keep the collar from slipping off. The multistage extensible rod antenna system thus structured creates less compressive force on the elastic sealing ring, prolonging the elasticity of the sealing ring and extending the service life of the multistage extensible rod antenna system.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a car antenna system which comprises a substantially cylindrical mounting base having a conductor fitted therein and penetrating a car body wall, a mounting member shifted along the mounting base and fixed, a fixing means formed of an insulating material shifted by the mounting member to fix the mounting base to the car body wall, a rod antenna element attached to the outside end of a conductive part of the mounting base, and a loading coil located inside the car body wall and connected between the conductive part and a cable led to a CB-wave transmitter-receiver whereby, the capacitance between the car body wall and the conductive part being lower as compared with a case in which the mounting member is not included.
Abstract:
A telescopic rod antenna apparatus of the present invention includes a mechanism for extending/retracting a telescopic antenna element by operating a smallest-diameter one of rods of the antenna element, and a means for setting the rods in the second state where a tip portion of a largest-diameter rod contacts an O-shaped ring seal means and then extending the antenna element using the mechanism, setting the rods in the second state where the antenna element is retracted using the mechanism, and displacing the second state to the first state where the largest-diameter rod is returned to the initial position of a holding tube to bring a top portion into contact with the O-shaped ring seal means.
Abstract:
A slide fastener slider with an automatic lock mechanism comprises a body including a support lug standing on a guide post, a guide lug standing at a rear opening side of the body, a recessed portion defined between the support lug and the guide lug, a pair of projections project from opposite sides of the recessed portion. A spring is mounted to the body with its V-shaped bent portion of the spring fitted into the recessed portion. The bent portion is then fixed by caulking the projections. A pintle of a pull tab is disposed on the spring. A pawl member, which has an pressing portion to be brought into resilient contact with the spring on its one end, the locking paws on the other end, and a support shaft at opposite sides of an intermediate portion thereof, is disposed on the pintle. The support shaft is axially supported on the support lug, the locking pawl side at a rear end of the pawl member is guided by the guide pawl, and the locking pawl is allowed to pivotally move for being fitted into and detached from the fastener elements by operating the pull tab. In the slider with the automatic lock mechanism, therefore, the pawl member and the spring can be easily disposed and assembled, and the pivotal movement of the pawl member can be guided on the locking pawl side.
Abstract:
A telescopic rod antenna according to the present invention includes an antenna element and a waterproof ring-shaped seal member which is inserted in a ring-shaped gap in a joint between two rods of the antenna element. The ring-shaped seal member is obtained by shaping a thermoplastic resin film strip, on which at least one projecting portion is formed in its longitudinal direction, like a ring and compressing and inserting a ring-shaped film into the ring-shaped gap. A plurality of ring-shaped contact portions are formed on both sides of the film strip in its longitudinal direction while the projecting portion of the film strip serves as a basic contact portion. The ring-shaped contact portions are adhered to the inner surface of the larger-diameter rod and the outer surface of the smaller-diameter rod at a predetermined pressure. The tip portion of the smallest-diameter rod is provided with a short cylinder member fitted to the outer periphery of the tip portion of the smallest-diameter rod, and a stopper member for sealing an open end of a hollow of the short cylinder member.
Abstract:
A braided wire according to the present invention is constituted by weaving a plurality of first long conductors arranged in parallel and a plurality of second long conductors arranged in parallel so as to cross the first long conductors each other. Each of the first and second long conductors has a section which is perpendicular to an axis thereof and flattened such that a thickness of the conductor is decreased toward both end portions in a width direction. The first and second long conductors each having the flattened section are woven such that they are put one on another in a thickness direction.
