摘要： This invention provides for a novel means of incorporating non-native amino acids into preselected positions of a protein using a cell-free synthesis system. The methods involve the use of non-orthogonal, native isoaccepting sense tRNAs that are encoded by the genetic code. Such methods allow for numerous non-native amino acids to be incorporated through the use of sense codons without having to rely upon orthogonal tRNA-synthetase pairs.

摘要： A spar hull centerwell arrangement wherein an adjustable buoyancy centerwell device (ABCD) is disposed within the centerwell of the structure. The adjustable buoyancy centerwell device is rigidly connected to the interior walls of the hard tank and defines an adjustable buoyancy centerwell device within the centerwell. The adjustable variable buoyancy unit is a water and airtight buoyancy chamber that allows the interior ballast to be changed as required. This device can also be used as a storage unit for on board fluids and other produced hydrocarbons.

摘要： An operator system and related methods for automatically controlling access barriers which includes a base controller associated with at least one access barrier and at least one base receiver associated with the base controller. The system also includes at least one mobile transmitter that automatically and periodically generates at least one mobile signal detectable by the base receiver. The base controller selectively generates barrier movement commands upon receipt of the at least one mobile signal. Timers may be used to block receipt of any mobile signals for a period of time to prevent any further door movement. Such a system allows for hands-free operation of the access barrier. A discrete processing system may also be used to retrofit existing barrier operator systems for use in hands-free operation.

摘要： The invention provides a method for identifying peptides for use in increasing a cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) response to an antigen. The method comprises the steps of comparing the amino acid sequence of the VH and/or VL portions of an anti-idiotypic monoclonal antibody to the amino acid sequence of an antigen to identify regions of homology between the Ab2 and the antigen, and to further identify an HLA binding motif in a homologous region. The identified homologous region which comprises an HLA binding motif defines a peptide sequence that is useful for stimulating a CTL response. Also provided are peptides identified by the method, and a method of using the peptides to stimulate a CTL response in an individual.

When the barrier is in a stopped, partially open position the operator implements at least a hybrid control sequence that employs either a four-phase logic or an open-only logic depending upon the status of a mode indicator. In the preferred embodiment the mode indicator is a time light that is activated upon receipt of a user command.

摘要： An operating system for a motorized barrier includes an operator for controlling movement of the barrier between various positions and an accessory. The system includes a wall station transmitter, a wireless keyless entry transmitter and/or a portable remote transmitter. The system also includes an accessory device such as a light fixture or switch that controls a load, wherein the device is capable of also receiving wireless signals to control the fixture or the load. The system allows for pre-storing of an operator serial number that is needed to communicate with the accessory devices. The operator serial number may also be randomly derived from a timer or by parsing a serial number generated by one of the transmitters.
