摘要: The present technique relates to a receiving device that can promptly present receivable one-segment broadcasts, a receiving method, and a program.Station information acquiring units (111 through 113) acquire area broadcast information about stations that transmit broadcast waves of arbitrary one-segment broadcasting through arbitrary segments. Using the area broadcast information, a station selecting unit (117) selects stations of one-segment broadcasts receivable at a predetermined location as selectable stations that can be selected by tuning. A tuning control unit (118) performs tuning control to select a one-segment broadcast of a selectable station. The present invention can be applied to mobile one-segment broadcast receiving terminals, for example.

摘要: A transmitter, a transmission method, a receiver, a reception method, and a program are provided which can allow the acquisition of all selection information of multi-segment broadcasting.A relevant information generating unit 51 generates an NIT including channel selection information of a central segment of the multi-segment broadcasting and an NIT including channel selection information of non-central segments. A transmitter unit 57 transmits the NIT of the central segment as NIT actual and the NIT of the non-central segments as NIT other through the use of the central segment. This configuration can be applied, for example, to a broadcasting station that transmits the multi-segment broadcasting through the use of terrestrial digital broadcast waves.

摘要: Data D28 of 384 symbols each (fundamental data) corresponding to a transmission rate on a communication line is sequentially obtained by de-interleaving received data. A de-repetition circuit 212 sequentially outputs four kinds of data D29 to D32 of 384 symbols, 192 symbols, 96 symbols and 48 symbols, including data transfer rates of approximately 9600 bps, approximately 4800 bps, approximately 2400 bps and approximately 1200 bps in response to the data D28 of 384 symbols each. In that case, the data D28 is outputted as the data D29 as it is. At that very moment, a hold circuit 222 and an adder 223 are used to generate data whose data amount is ½ times the data amount from the data D28 as the next outputted data D30, and the data thus generated is written in a memory 213. When data D30, D31 are also outputted, data D31, D32 are respectively generated in the same way. Thus, it is sufficient that the received data of 384 symbols each might be de-interleaved once.

摘要: A viterbi decoder that performs viterbi decoding at a high speed with low power consumption using a memory such as a random access memory as a path selection information storage unit. Adder-comparator-selector (ACS) processing units 13a, 13b time-divisionally perform ACS processing for even and odd number states, respectively, based on the branch metrics from a branch metric computing unit 12 and the path metric of the previous period to produce the path selection information. Eight states of the path selection information storage are collected together by a temporary storage circuit 20 and sent to and written in a path selection information storage unit 15. In the path selection information storage unit 15, the past path selection information is read out during the time other than a write time for the path selection information. The path selection information corresponding to the maximum likelihood states of the path selection information in the path selection information storage unit 15 is read out during the time the ACS processing is performed for all states.

摘要: An ACS calculation is performed with received data and when the punctured process has not been performed, a trace-back process is performed in a loop. In this case, a punctured pattern of which data received at one time point, in those at three time points that have not been punctured, is used. Thus, the trace-back process is performed for the data at the time point. With the trace-back process performed once, decoded data at three time points including punctured data at two time points is generated. Since the trace-back process is not performed with punctured data as the start point, an error of decoded data can be prevented or suppressed.
